Liberal Moonbats Go After Rasmussen

Liberal Moonbats Go After Rasmussen

It is not like we were oblivious to the attacks coming from the liberal left wing of the democratic party all of 2009.  According to Homeland Security, anyone that has actually read the Constitution might be considered a right wing domestic terrorist.  Remember when Nancy Pelosi said that the astroturfing tea partiers were brandishing swastikas, and spouting rhetoric that might incite violence?  What about being called tea-baggers, racists, and the angry mob?  The instances went on for months, and they are a page right out of Saul Alinsky’s ‘Rules For Radicals‘.

So I am not surprised to see that the Dems have gone after Scott Rasmussen of Rasmussen Reports.  Barack Obama’s worsening poll numbers have nothing to do with terrorist attacks, vacations, golfing, 10% unemployment,  yada, yada, yada.  It’s all because Scott Rasmussen is underpolling Bambi.

From Politico:
Low favorables: Dems rip Rasmussen

Democrats are turning their fire on Scott Rasmussen, the prolific independent pollster whose surveys on elections, President Obama’s popularity and a host of other issues are surfacing in the media with increasing frequency.

The pointed attacks reflect a hardening conventional wisdom among prominent liberal bloggers and many Democrats that Rasmussen Reports polls are, at best, the result of a flawed polling model and, at worst, designed to undermine Democratic politicians and the party’s national agenda.

On progressive-oriented websites, anti-Rasmussen sentiment is an article of faith. “Rasmussen Caught With Their Thumb on the Scale,” blared the Daily Kos this summer. “Rasmussen Reports, You Decide,” the blog Swing State Project recently headlined in a play on the Fox News motto.

Divert attention from your steadily worsening situation due to your own actions by blaming someone else.

Nothing, however, sets off liberal teeth gnashing more than Rasmussen’s daily presidential tracking polls, which throughout the year have consistently placed Obama’s approval numbers around 5 percentage points lower than other polling outfits.

“He polls less favorably for Democrats, and that’s why he’s become a lightning rod,” said Charles Franklin, a University of Wisconsin political scientist who studies polling. “It’s clear that his results are typically more Republican than the other person’s results.”

On Saturday, Dec. 26, for example, Rasmussen’s daily tracking had Obama’s approval at 44 percent, with a disapproval figure of 56 percent. A Real Clear Politics compilation of other pollsters, meanwhile, showed Obama with an average approval figure of 49.5 percent and disapproval of 45.1 percent.

“He’s been underpolling Obama all year,” said Boehlert. “People start thinking, ‘There’s something going on here.’”

If there is any underpolling occurring, it’s with the actual percentages of Americans that are waking up and getting very angry about all the red ink, the czars, the mandated healthcare, etc.  A perfect example is the poll I was looking at  yesterday; “47% Believe States Should Have Right to Opt Out of Health Care Plan“. AYFKM?  Only 47% of Americans, currently, understand that the federal government should not be dictating to the states?  On second thought, that might actually be correct, a product of our ridiculous public schools, and a pathetic statement of our times.

Here is the true reason that Rasmussen’s polls look the way they do, and is very telling of the 2010 and 2012 elections.

Rasmussen, for his part, explained that his numbers are trending Republican simply because he is screening for only those voters most likely to head to the polls — a pool of respondents, he argues, that just so happens to bend more conservative this election cycle.

You may or may not want to go over and read the rest of the article which has moonbats whining about question phrasing.

The Saul Alinsky Nightmare Continues (Now Out In The Open)

The Saul Alinsky Nightmare Continues (Now Out In The Open)

It is the day after the Christmas where we received cyanide capsules in our stockings compliments of the Senate and their un-Constitutionally mandated health care system that is causing the stock prices of health insurance companies to climb, and the raising of the debt ceiling.  We also found out that the Bambi Tour Entourage will be spending $56,000 for a christmas vacation estate in Hawaii for two weeks, on our dime, when some 7 million people are out of work, and that amount is more than they make in a year.  AYFKM?  Wow, Bambi and Mishy are looking more like Ferdinand and Imelda Marcos every day to the dismay of the left and the “I Frakkin’ Told You So!” of just about everybody else.

I applaud the heroics of the passengers on Delta flight 253 who took out another muslim terrorist hell bent on killing innocent people.  Everbody may want to applaud Barry Soetoro for that additional Christmas present that keeps on giving, and expect more such gifts on a daily basis now due to his lilly-livered policy toward anything anti-American.  Who knows, he may actually be laying a trap for our adversaries by effectively making America look weak. (snark).

All of that being said, I may not be posting as much this week due to the preparations for the roll out of the new theme on Friday, and because Clyde over at the Patriot Room has it spot on today.

But…

I could not let another disciple of Saul Alinsky go by.  Anybody surprised that Chris Matthews is a disciple of Alinsky?  Didn’t think so.   I wonder how many more of the media that put Barack in the White House are followers of the ’60’s radical that is the godfather of the fundamental transformation that Bambi and Company are wreaking on our nation?

From WND:

Chris Matthews: Alinsky ‘our hero’
MSNBC host hails radical community organizer

Just five days after affirming on air that he is a liberal, MSNBC host Chris Matthews exclaimed that radical community organizer Saul Alinsky is one of his heroes.

Stated Matthews: “Well, to reach back to one of our heroes from the past, from the ’60s, Saul Alinsky once said that even though both sides have flaws in their arguments and you can always find something nuanced about your own side you don’t like and it’s never perfect, you have to act in the end like there’s simple black and white clarity between your side and the other side or you don’t get anything done.

“I always try to remind myself of Saul Alinsky when I get confused,” Matthews said on his “Hardball” show, speaking to guest Sen. Bernie Sanders, a self-described democratic socialist, on the topic of President Obama’s health care plan.

There are some interesting tidbits in this article from David Horowitz which I highly recommend, so do a flyby and read the rest.   Other than that, get out of the house and take a day off because the fight for our nation is about to begin and we all need to be level.

Today’s AYFKM? Award Goes To The NEA For Recommending Saul Alinsky

Today’s AYFKM? Award Goes To The NEA For Recommending Saul Alinsky

Yes, you read that right; the NEA is recommending Saul Alinsky’s books. Is there any doubt now about the Progressive Socialist Democratic Party wrapping up the teacher’s unions in their little freight train toward marxism, thought control of our children, and generational programming to accept serfdom? Public school education is only as good as the people that make the decisions about what is taught; not necessarily as good as the teachers teaching the curriculum.

From WorldNetDaily:

NEA raves to teachers about Alinsky ‘guidebook’
Recommends texts by radical community organizer who ‘encouraged positive social change’

The National Education Association has made a glowing assessment of radical socialist community
organizer Saul Alinsky and is enthusiastically recommending American public school teachers read two of his books, including one dedicated to Satan.

On its website, the NEA dubs Alinsky “an inspiration to anyone contemplating action in their community! And to every organizer!”

It recommends Alinsky’s “Reveille for Radicals,” a 1946 book about the principles and tactics of “community organizing,” and “Rules for Radicals,” a 1971 text that articulated a socialist strategy for gaining political power to redistribute wealth from the “haves” to the “have-nots.”

The NEA, the largest labor union in the United States, represents public school teachers, college and university faculty, retired education employees and college students preparing to become teachers.

The association describes Alinsky as a “master political agitator, tactical planner and social organizer” who wrote a “guidebook for those who are out to change things.”

“He sets down what the goal is: a society where people are free to live, and also aren’t starving in the streets. A society where there is legal and economic justice,” the NEA explains to educators. “Then he sets out to say how to get there.”

The NEA continues, “Alinsky’s goal seems to be to encourage positive social change by equipping activists with a realistic view of the world, a kind of preemptive disillusionment. If a person already knows what evil the world is capable of, then perhaps the surprise factor can be eliminated, making the person a more effective activist. Alinsky further seems to be encouraging the budding activist not to worry to [sic] much about getting his or her hands dirty. It’s all a part of the job, he seems to say.”

Pajamas TV Hits A Home Run On “How To Destroy A Leader”

It is always a pleasure to be able to return a linking h/t. This one goes to Why Mommy Is A Palin Supporter for the following post:

A Lesson On How To Destroy A Leader:

Bill Whittle of Pajamas Media has released a commentary on the multi-faceted campaign to bring down Sarah Palin that pours down thirteen minutes of unadulterated verbal smackdown on the heads of those in the media, the Democratic Party and the Republican establishment who have been attacking Sarah Palin. This is a “must watch” video commentary that sends a reverberent cannon shot directly into enemy ground. Few names are mentioned, but the enemy is identified, exposed and crushed with facts that do not merely reveal, but truly inspire.

Please do watch the entire thirteen minutes.

I applaud Bill Whittle for one of the clearest and most concise commentaries I have heard in years, and as “Mommy” states, listen through the entire commentary because the suppositions at the end about moral and immoral people, and Saul Alinsky and his tactics are a MUST HEAR and HEED!  The commentary will also give you more than a bird’s eye view of what the coasts think of the little peeps in fly-over country.
