When over 2 million people marched into the District of Criminals on 9.12.2009 to let Washington know that we were awake, paying attention, and keeping score, they weren’t listening. When the Obamacare townhalls became raucous, they whined about being called on the carpet and/or called us astroturf one day and domestic terrorists the next. When we melted the phone lines in Congress day after wretched day they kindasorta started paying attention. One would THINK that when we fired their asses with prejudice and sent them packing in November, 2010, the remaining criminals might actually have UNDERSTOOD how pissed we are.
The Senate voted Wednesday for the first time to repeal a piece of President Barack Obama’s health care overhaul, rolling back a new tax reporting requirement that’s been universally panned by business owners.
The amendment to repeal the 1099 reporting requirement passed 81-17 with broad bipartisan support.
ARE YOU FUCKIN’ KIDDING ME?
The 17 losers that decided to continue to hammer small businesses in, what can only be described as delusional hopes of raising $17 Billion dollars against a $14 TRILLION DOLLAR debt? WHERE exactly does that $17 Billion come from when small business stops paying taxes because they are not producing revenue, just tracking less revenue? And does the $17 Billion matter when we pay the Federal Reserve more than that each month in interest on the debt?
NOT striking down certain provisions. NOT meddling and tinkering with the cracked door of socialized medicine.
NOT HALF ASSED MEASURES!
IN IT’S ENTIRETY!
…still not paying attention. Makes one wonder exactly what it will take to get these asshats’ attention.
Republicans? Democrats? LIEBERMAN? Paying attention? DON’T YOU DARE PICK, CHOOSE OR PLAY POLITICS WITH THIS LAW. We don’t give a rat’s ass whether the crack smokin’ teenagers in the White House like the repeal movement or whether the sorry excuse for a walking, talking, breathing human being who happens to be the worst pResident in the history of the universe vetoes it or not. PASS THE REPEAL!
We told you that we would spend our very last freakin’ penny to get this country back on track and save our childrens’ futures.
WE ARE NOT LIKE YOU!
WE WERE NOT LYING!!!
Straighten up and fly right. We are watching you. Don’t you dare go along to get along.
Bret Baier interviewing John Boehner about the total repeal of Obamacare. Bret does not seem to understand that a sizable percentage of Americans want to cut our losses, REPEAL the 2700 page fiasco, and START OVER! Mr. Boehner is saying all the right things when it comes to repealing Obamacare; what remains to be seen is if the GOP has the backbone to do it.
Boehner: “Trust me. I’m Going To Make Sure This H’care Bill Is Never, Ever, Ever Implemented”
March 21, 2010 – WASHINGTON, D.C – Today, U.S. Senator Jim DeMint (R-South Carolina) announced that he will introduce legislation this week to repeal President Obama’s government takeover of health care. House Democrats voted this evening to pass the Senate version of the health care bill and it will likely be signed into law by President Obama later this week.
“This bill is unconstitutional and it cannot be fixed. It must be repealed,” said Senator DeMint. “The battle for health care freedom is not over and I will introduce legislation this week to repeal this health care takeover.
“Unless this trillion-dollar assault on our freedoms is repealed, it will force Americans to purchase Washington-approved health plans or face stiff penalties. It will fund abortions, raise taxes and insurance premiums, while reducing health care choices and quality.”
“This arrogant power grab proves that the President and his party care more about government control than the will of the American people. Americans told Washington to keep its hands off their health care in opinion polls, at public protests, and at the ballot box, but their pleas were ignored.
“If the President and Democrats were serious about true health care reform, there were many free-market solutions we could have easily passed. Americans support commonsense reforms such as purchasing coverage across state lines, stopping frivolous medical lawsuits, and giving the same tax breaks to Americans who don’t get their insurance at work. Unfortunately, Democrats refused to listen.”
The bill passed in the House today raids $52 billion from Social Security, cuts nearly $500 billion from Medicare, and doesn’t account for the hundreds of billions Congress must pass to pay doctors who treat elderly patients.
TEXT of Senator DeMint’s bill to Repeal ObamaCare:
To repeal the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. REPEAL.
The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, and the amendments made by that Act, are repealed.
After months of backroom deals, political payoffs, and strong-arm tactics, President Obama and the Democrats forced an unpopular health care takeover through the United States Congress. Americans lost this battle with their elected leaders in Washington but the war is not over! If we’re willing to the fight to save freedom, we can settle the score in November by electing true conservatives who will repeal this unconstitutional and dangerous bill. The simple truth is the bill cannot be fixed. It must be repealed.
The Senate Conservatives Fund, chaired by U.S. Senator Jim DeMint, has launched this national “Repeal ObamaCare Pledge” to rally support for conservative candidates who vow to repeal President Obama’s health care takeover. America is teetering toward tyranny and we must work together to reverse the radical agenda in Washington.
Electing just any Republican is not the answer. We’ve seen what happens when we send Republicans to Washington who don’t truly believe in the principles of freedom. They abandon their principles, lose the trust of the American people, and leave us with Democrats controlling Congress and the White House.
Instead, we must support true conservatives who love the Constitution and who will fight for limited government, a strong national defense, and traditional family values. And we must only help those candidates who vow to repeal ObamaCare.
