As far as I am able to ascertain, Laura Ingraham is the first person to broadcast this rally, “Code Red” (audio), to defeat the Democrats’ health care plan.   High Noon For Healthcare is sponsoring this and has many excellent co-sponsors.

Code Red Rally Tuesday 1:30pm Dec 15th US Capitol

It’s time we all stop pretending that what is happening with this Obamacare debate is about “helping the uninsured” or “fixing the healthcare system” or “giving the people what they want.” It’s about none of those things. Its about amassing as much power in a central government as humanly possible. It’s about wealth redistribution. It’s social engineering at its absolute worst.

The American people must take this political system back from those who have hijacked it in one of the most abhorrent power grabs that we the voters have ever seen. It’s the holiday season so the Democrats are counting on you to be otherwise occupied and too busy to stand against their massive expansion of government. Let them underestimate us again just as they did last summer. Let these unrepresentative politicians proceed with their legislative chicanery and self-righteous grandstanding. We can expose them and confront them in the classic American spirit–a public gathering on their doorstep. On December 15th at 1:30pm, we will remind Pelosi, Reid, Schumer et al. that they work for us and not the other way around. We will demand that they follow the will of the people, not dismiss and degrade it by putting future generations into a deficit dungeon. We will put every politician who supports this travesty on notice: enjoy your remaining time in the U.S. Capitol because we’re coming for your seat.

The American people will not forget those who turned their backs on us and voted for a bill that they hadn’t read and which will do nothing but ensure that one of the best healthcare systems in the world is compromised.

December 15th, 2009 on Capitol Hill

The fight is on in the U.S. Senate over the future of your health care and the proper role of government. Senator Reid only needs 3 more VOTES to make government-run health care a reality in America.

If that happens, brace yourself for:

* Roughly $500 billion in tax INCREASES
* Mandates forcing you into government insurance
* $464 billion in Medicare CUTS
* Higher Insurance Premiums
* A cost of $2.5 Trillion that just might break the Treasury.

We can’t let Washington come between you or your child and your doctor! YOU CAN HELP STOP HARRY REID. Join us in Washington DC on December 15 to tell Washington to keep their hands off our health care.

What: Senate Emergency Rally
When: December 15th, at 1:30pm ET
Where: Upper Senate Park, on Constitution Ave. between New Jersey and Delaware St. NE

We are adding more speakers every day. Our confirmed speakers are:

* Senator Tom Coburn
* Senator Jim DeMint
* Laura Ingraham
* Rick Scott, Chairman, Conservatives for Patients Rights

Following the Rally we will help you find your Senators office so you can tell Congress what you think.

You don’t need to register unless you would like to ride a bus sponsored by our coalition members. However, it would help helpful if you let us know you’re coming so we know to expect you. This is truly a grassroots effort so many of our busses are asking for an affordable transportation contribution. We will provide lunch on the busses.

Stand up for health care freedom in a way your senators will never forget. This may be our last stand against the Democrats misguided health care agenda.

$2.5 Trillion? I think that’s a low estimate:

Stuart Varney filling in for Neil Cavuto on Your World is interviewing Debra Burlingame of Keep America Safe about the consequences of bringing the 9/11 terrorists to NYC for a criminal trial.  Debra is very articulate and concise and lays out the 3 ring circus of how this case will “devolve into putting the United States Government on trial”, and how if KSM decides to represent himself, he will have access to all sorts of national security secrets as part of his defense.  Thought that was bad?  As usual, it can and will get worse:

…moreover, it means that if they don’t want to give that information, they have to dismiss all the charges that rely on it.

How’s that grab you America?  Not much?  Then join the beginning of the national campaign against these trials with a rally on Saturday, 12.5.09 in NYC.  I will bring further details as they become available.

Tim Brown of TheBravest is giving a press conference tomorrow, 11.24.09:

We are holding a press conference on Tuesday, November 24, at noon in Battery Park, Clinton Castle for the 9/11 families and first responders/survivors. We chose to hold it on Thanksgiving Week in the hope that our fellow Americans will join us in sending our prayers and messages of thanks to our troops and first responders, who bear the brunt of the decisions made in Washington. At that time we will announce the details for a large rally in New York City on Saturday, December 5, at noon at a location to be announced at the press conference.

Going forward, we think it is important that the rally be tightly focused on the issues of keeping 9/11 war crimes trials out of civilian courts, keeping foreign terrorists off U.S. soil, and reversing the policy of returning to pre-9/11 days when the U.S. Government responded to deadly terrorist attacks with arrest warrants.

Please stay tuned as we release more information in the next few days.

Remember, these trials will be the biggest recruiting tool for Al Qaeda, as the jihadists will be able to relive every moment of that fateful day on the very site of their greatest victory. (I am paraphrasing Debra)
