It’s 3AM And The Guy In The White House Is Voting Present (Again)
REAL Americans are on the right side of history…Barack Hussein Obama? Not. So. Much. I know he finally came out today and condemned the violence in Iran….EVERYBODY knows it is way too little…uh..uh..uh…way too late. Barack you are a COWARD and/or you have saved all of your Bold steps for turning America into a socialist european state.
Here we are 11 days into the protests in Iran that are getting bloodier by the minute and the guy in the White House is voting present again when what we DESPERATELY NEED is The Leader Of The Free World. That’s right, Barack Obama forfeited that to Bibi Netanyahu when he went on his last apology tour, (and 150,000+ American Souls buried in European graveyards are still screaming for justice about that), through the Middle East, and Bibi solidified his position when he stepped up Sunday in solidarity with the Iranian protestors right along with millions of Americans and citizens of other countries. Imagine that, an Israeli backing Persians. Who woulda thought?
The Leader of The Free World has always been an American president because our presidents stood for life, liberty, and freedom for all peoples. Barack is so busy voting present instead of asking Mishy for his balls back so that he can stand up and be a man, that he cannot see the forest for the trees. It does not matter if America appears to meddle or not, we will get blamed. We, as Americans are definitely strong enough to take that criticism and the Iranian protestors NEED the support of our government and the international community to put a stop to the Iranian regime that is KILLING their own people. Sounds like a skip down the genocide path to me.
This is a golden opportunity to set the record straight for what past administrations (not average everyday Americans) did when they propped up the Shah and created this mess in the Middle East (among other dictators). This is also a golden opportunity, (and if Barack had ever run a private company he would see it), to create another strong ally in the Middle East.
Obama has been stalling and fiddle-f*cking around with the whole Iranian revolt situation while REAL Americans and the Israelis, the Germans, the Brits, and assorted other people with their heads screwed on straight are calling for the Iranian government to STOP KILLING THEIR OWN PEOPLE. Frak! I cannot believe I have to even point this out.
Bambi? Has no one amongst all of your czars told you that Americans are the frakkin’ calvary coming to the rescue when people are being murdered? Why do you think the Iranian Protestors are doing what they are doing, and who do you think that they waiting for help from? They have done their part, it’s time for America and the international community to put as stop to the killing of innocent Iranians.
Now here is Bambi’s Timeline, and then what real Americans are saying:
Obama has been criticized by some Republicans for his muted reaction to developments in Iran. The president said in an interview with CNBC on Tuesday that he shared the world’s concerns about the election but that he had to move cautiously because “the easiest way for reactionary forces inside Iran to crush reformers is to say it’s the U.S. that is encouraging those reformers.”
“What I’ve said is, look, it’s up to the Iranian people to make a decision,” he said. “We are not meddling.”
Obama opened himself to more criticism when he said in an interview with the Times and CNBC that, from a U.S. national security perspective, Ahmadinejad and Mousavi were not that much different.
“Either way,” Obama said, the United States is “going to be dealing with an Iranian regime that has historically been hostile to the United States, that has caused some problems in the neighborhood and is pursuing nuclear weapons.”
And, you know, we respect Iran’s sovereignty. And we respect the fact that ultimately the Iranian people have to make these decisions. But I hope that the world understands that this is not something that has to do with the outside world. This has to do with what’s happening in Iran. And, I think ultimately the Iranian people, will obtain justice.
Q: People in this country say you haven’t said enough, that you haven’t been forceful enough in your support for those people in the street, and which you say?
A: To which I say the last thing that I want to do is to have the United States be a foil for those forces inside Iran who would love nothing better than to make this an argument about the United States. That’s what they do. That’s what we’ve already seen. We shouldn’t be playing into that. There should be no distractions from the fact that the Iranian people are seeking to let their voices be heard.
Now, what we can do is bear witness and say to the world that the, you know, incredible demonstrations that we’ve seen is a testimony to, I think what Dr. King called the the arc of the moral universe. It’s long but it bends towards justice.
US President Barack Obama urged Iran’s government “to stop all violent and unjust actions against its own people”, saying the “world is watching”.
Obama goes golfing
President Obama is sticking with his call for a restrained U.S. response to Iran’s post-election protests as pressure mounts from the GOP for him to “lead” by declaring his support for the country’s pro-reform demonstrations.
“The last thing that I want to do is to have the United States be a foil for those forces inside Iran who would love nothing better than to make this an argument about the United States,” Obama said in an interview broadcast Monday on CBS’ “The Early Show.”
“We shouldn’t be playing into that,” he said in the interview recorded Friday. “There should be no distractions from the fact that the Iranian people are seeking to let their voices be heard.”
Obama told Pakistan’s Dawn newspaper, in an interview published Sunday, that the United States has no way of knowing whether the disputed Iranian election 10 days ago was fair or not. Iranians should be able to peacefully protest the results in any case, Obama said.
Meanwhile, back here in the real world:
A leader of a democracy is almost morally bound to stand in solidarity with those fighting for their freedom, facing bullets, tear gas, and chemicals. At least there is one person on the world stage not acting like a weather vane. Leader of the Free World people.
