It is the day after the Christmas where we received cyanide capsules in our stockings compliments of the Senate and their un-Constitutionally mandated health care system that is causing the stock prices of health insurance companies to climb, and the raising of the debt ceiling. We also found out that the Bambi Tour Entourage will be spending $56,000 for a christmas vacation estate in Hawaii for two weeks, on our dime, when some 7 million people are out of work, and that amount is more than they make in a year. AYFKM? Wow, Bambi and Mishy are looking more like Ferdinand and Imelda Marcos every day to the dismay of the left and the “I Frakkin’ Told You So!” of just about everybody else.
I applaud the heroics of the passengers on Delta flight 253 who took out another muslim terrorist hell bent on killing innocent people. Everbody may want to applaud Barry Soetoro for that additional Christmas present that keeps on giving, and expect more such gifts on a daily basis now due to his lilly-livered policy toward anything anti-American. Who knows, he may actually be laying a trap for our adversaries by effectively making America look weak. (snark).
I could not let another disciple of Saul Alinsky go by. Anybody surprised that Chris Matthews is a disciple of Alinsky? Didn’t think so. I wonder how many more of the media that put Barack in the White House are followers of the ’60’s radical that is the godfather of the fundamental transformation that Bambi and Company are wreaking on our nation?
Just five days after affirming on air that he is a liberal, MSNBC host Chris Matthews exclaimed that radical community organizer Saul Alinsky is one of his heroes.
Stated Matthews: “Well, to reach back to one of our heroes from the past, from the ’60s, Saul Alinsky once said that even though both sides have flaws in their arguments and you can always find something nuanced about your own side you don’t like and it’s never perfect, you have to act in the end like there’s simple black and white clarity between your side and the other side or you don’t get anything done.
“I always try to remind myself of Saul Alinsky when I get confused,” Matthews said on his “Hardball” show, speaking to guest Sen. Bernie Sanders, a self-described democratic socialist, on the topic of President Obama’s health care plan.
There are some interesting tidbits in this article from David Horowitz which I highly recommend, so do a flyby and read the rest. Other than that, get out of the house and take a day off because the fight for our nation is about to begin and we all need to be level.
As many of my readers know, I live in Hawaii, and I do appreciate all the emails and comments I have received concerned about my family’s safety and the recent posturing and threats coming out of North Korea.
Stop, take a moment, and think. Whom should I be more worried about? The bouffant sporting, pajama wearing crazy with missiles that fall out of the sky, or the punk a** b*tch in the WH who is behaving like a fascist dictator with 21 czars one day, and then a weakling crawling up from the end of the bed to his Saudi masters the next? Hmmm?
(Wow, was that too harsh, or is it just because I have one hell of a cold and I’m pissed that our government is being run by lunatics on their third lives who know just enough to be dangerous to themselves and others, their actions say they have no loyalty to the Constitution and their constituents, AND the Fed and the Treasury are trying to crash our economy through devaluing the dollar through the printing of more and more debt – expected to be $2 Trillion just this year?)
If you were standing in my slippas, exactly whom would you be worried about? I am going to keep centering my attention on Mishy, B. Hussein Obama, Rahm Emanuel, Valerie Jarrett, Timothy Geithner, Ben Bernanke, ACORN, Working Families Party, and every TRAITOR to the Constitution now holding office in the beltway including all those Republicans that have turned tail and run for cover.
How many of you remember Captain Richard Phillips and the Somali Pirates? Go here to refresh your memory on how Bambi choked at using force, and how our military saved Captain Phillips’ life. I am betting that our military is not going to let Pearl Harbor happen again, especially since the CIC appears to be such a military hater.
And for those of you that are concerned about what our government and military are doing about the threats, go here.
(My spousal unit has weighed in with an opinion and he thinks it isn’t too harsh, it’s the truth and a hard commodity to find these days. Hele Mai!)
I can already imagine the email I will be receiving after this hits the net…
Today’s Are You Freakin’ Kidding Me? Award goes to my state senate for passing “Islam Day” to be observed on September 24th, 2009 at a time when we are at war with Islamic Jihadists.
H/T to Atlas Shrugs for paying more attention to the state in which I reside than I do; probably because it doesn’t make one iota of difference what a few sane individuals think here. “We gotta vote for Obama, he’s a local boy.” Remember, this is the state that wants to establish it’s own sovereignty independent of the United States as a Hawaiian Nation with no military and an unarmed populace, (by design), that will lickety split become the territory of Japan, China, or Sweden (who already has a stake in this island chain). A few of my closer associates already know that I am shopping for a new state to live in, and I am sure the locals will be happy to see me go.
HONOLULU — Hawaii’s state Senate overwhelmingly approved a bill Wednesday to celebrate “Islam Day” — over the objections of a few lawmakers who said they didn’t want to honor a religion connected to Sept. 11, 2001.
The Senate’s two Republicans argued that a minority of Islamic extremists have killed many innocents in terrorist attacks.
“I recall radical Islamists around the world cheering the horrors of 9/11. That is the day all civilized people of all religions should remember,” said Republican Sen. Fred Hemmings to the applause of more than 100 people gathered in the Senate to oppose a separate issue — same-sex civil unions.
The resolution to proclaim Sept. 24, 2009, as Islam Day passed the Senate on a 22-3 vote. It had previously passed the House and now goes to Republican Gov. Linda Lingle.
The bill seeks to recognize “the rich religious, scientific, cultural and artistic contributions” that Islam and the Islamic world have made. It does not call for any spending or organized celebration of Islam Day.
“We are a state of tolerance. We understand that people have different beliefs,” said Sen. Will Espero, a Democrat. “We may not all agree on every single item and issue out there, but to say and highlight the negativity of the Islamic people is an insult to the majority” of believers “who are good law-abiding citizens of the world.”
The second AYFKM? Award goes to Senator Will Espero, who I swear must be portagee for his comment above. I am not a local hawaiian, even though I am now considered kaimaina, and I will state unequivocally that Hawaii is NOT a state of tolerance; far from it. From the first week that I lived here when local hawaiian women were spitting on my 3 year old and myself because of our white skin and red hair, to being called a haole bitch almost daily, to the continued stink eye and frowns I receive every time I walk into a bank or grocery store, Hawaii is NOT about tolerance or embracing different cultures. It is just more words with totally opposite actions. A great day in Hawaii is a day that I do not have to cross paths with a local, and put up with the reverse racism that goes with it. (And people wonder why I try to keep my identity under the radar.)
My last comment is rather a question; how much did Bambi’s travels here have to do with this occurring?
******
P.S. I wonder how this is going to affect our economically downtrodden tourism?
