Please make sure to thank Bill Clinton (Progressive(D)) and Newt Gingrich (Progressive(R)) for giving us the WTO and free trade…look how it has balanced the world.
We created global trade. We created global finances. We created global companies, but we forgot to create a global government. – Andy Stern (SEIU)
Wow – Glenn has joined the rest of the tinfoil hat wearing crowd that realizes that the universe usually has an intrinsic balance, and when events are out of kilter; there’s a good reason why. I do believe that Glenn has become a devout believer in ‘if it looks like a duck…‘ For example: if it looks like Obama and the progressives are trying to dismantle America economically, meanwhile giving broad new powers over American citizens to the United Nations and giving billions of dollars away to foreign countries – well then, Chairman Zero and Co. may just be trying to globally redistribute American wealth. Welcome aboard Glenn…we’ve been waiting for you to start telling the whole truth. (Excellent show today.)
In the third video (this is continuous play) a Koolaid drinker asked Obama if this was the best she could expect because she was tired of defending him and his agenda. A word to the wise? The Tea Party Patriots are not crazy and we respectfully request that you put down the pitchers! This IS the beginning of a new reality that is only going downhill from here if this progressive Congress and White House are allowed to burn down the country.
On July 3rd, Coast Guard Admiral Thad Allen issued a new rule that does not allow the media or anyone with cameras to get closer than 65 feet to any response vessel or boom without permission from the Coast Guard Captain of the Port of New Orleans. Violation of the rule carries a $40,000 fine and A Class D Felony charge.

Whatever is going on in the Gulf of Mexico; this government DOES NOT WANT YOU TO KNOW!
It’s time to get to the Gulf and find out what they are hiding from the ‘little people’!
Glenn has a completely different perspective on Barack’s speech about the oil leak, and with the information that follows of how the liberal media hit a hysterical moment after the speech, Glenn is probably right. He explains that the language used was based on Woodrow Wilson and FDR (both progressive democrats), and that the language itself is ‘war language’. He also shows the discrepancy between this speech being given from the Oval Office (traditionally used for announcements of war, disaster, and major economic news) and the speech about the stimulus where America ‘may not recover’ if it wasn’t passed.
So the complete and total collapse of America doesn’t warrant a speech from the oval office, but an oil spill that the president has waited months to address, and golfed 6 times, went to a Paul McCartney concert in the meantime, suddenly does warrant the oval office and him declaring war.
Glenn also figures out that George Bush really is a ‘right’ progressive with the passage of the Patriot Act which did nothing to secure the borders, but only makes one slight mistake, IMHO; he believes that progressives on the left want to have a global government with the UN in charge, and that the progressives on the right want to rule the world with the US as the leader. The progressives on the right want to rule the world with Britain/America in charge.
From all the sketchy behavior we have seen from BP and the Obama administration, any person with their little gray cells communicating can tell we are being lied to. If I lived on the mainland close to the gulf states, I would have already been there trying to get the truth out. As it is, I must rely on the citizen journalist network and readers to send me information to start the hunt with.
When I first received Part 1 of the Richard Hoagland interview with George Noory on Coast to Coast AM concerning the gulf oil leak and a possible giant gas bubble under the sea floor, I thought it would be prudent to ‘sleep on it’ before I decided whether or not to post it. Then I heard Lindsey Williams on the Jeff Rense show stating the same thing; still deciding to let it be until morning. THEN I listened to Steve Quayle. When a person hears three different radio programs within a five day period (two of which were on the same day) saying the same thing; it’s time to sit up and pay attention.
I will not be posting all the parts of all of these videos, but will post the first part of each series and the links for the additional parts.
Robert Gibbs: “We are going to outline tonight groups of people and somebody that will be in charge of putting a recovery plan together, and ready to have once we get past the cleanup and response phase of this disaster”
No surprise here. More on Center For American Progress, here; John Podesta, here.
Robert Dreyfuss reports in the March 1, 2004 edition of The Nation: “The idea for the Center began with discussions in 2002 between [Morton] Halperin and George Soros, the billionaire investor. … Halperin, who heads the office of Soros’ Open Society Institute, brought [former Clinton chief of staff John] Podesta into the discussion, and beginning in late 2002 Halperin and Podesta circulated a series of papers to funders.”
If you want to see where President Barack Obama’s response to the Deepwater Horizon disaster is heading, try following the urgings of the Center for American Progress.
The liberal think tank with close White House ties appears to have more influence on spill policy than the president’s in-house advisers. On May 4, for instance, the CAP’s energy and environment expert, Daniel Weiss, called on the president to name an independent commission to look at the causes of the Deepwater Horizon disaster. On May 22, he did just that.
On May 21, CAP president, John Podesta, privately implored White House officials to name someone to be the public point person for the spill response. A week later, the White House announced that Coast Guard Adm. Thad Allen would hold daily briefings on the spill, wherever he would be on any given day.
On May 26, Weiss said the White House needed to demand that BP immediately set up an escrow account with billions of dollars from which claims for Gulf state residents would be paid out.
I stumbled on this story over at Gateway Pundit about Barry making comparisons between the gulf oil leak and 9.11. I decided to check the out the whole story and felt just a bit more commentary was required. Politico did this interview on Friday, and released this piece this morning.
Obama — facing mounting criticism of his handling of the BP gusher, even from longtime allies — vowed to make a “bold” push for a new energy law even as the calamity continues to unfold. And he said he will use the rest of his presidency to try to put the United States on a course toward a “new way of doing business when it comes to energy.”
“In the same way that our view of our vulnerabilities and our foreign policy was shaped profoundly by 9/11,” the president said in an Oval Office interview on Friday, “I think this disaster is going to shape how we think about the environment and energy for many years to come.”
Now I am starting to believe the rumors that this asshat was behind the tragedy to enable his political agenda to move through Congress unimpeded by the unwashed masses that are paying the bills.
Previewing his message for the midterm congressional elections in November, the president said: “[T]he Democrats in Congress have taken tougher votes, have worked harder under more stressful circumstances, than just about any Congress in our memory. And they’ve done a great job and deserve reelection.”
Translation: they have being working themselves to the bone spending American taxpayer dollars faster and more efficiently than when they took control of Congress in 2006. The dems have been doing everything their globalist masters have asked of them (and more) in an effort to collapse the economy and shift the powerbase to the United Nations, Basil, the IMF, and the World Bank. How can we not reward them?
“So I’m going to be fighting on their behalf and doing everything I can and using my bully pulpit to communicate that fact to the American people,” he said. “I know there’s an anti-incumbent mood out there right now because … people are frustrated about the hit that the economy has taken. … But what I’m going to remind people of is we didn’t create this mess. And this Congress responded forcefully at a time when this economy really could have fallen off a cliff.”
Sorry Barry – you and your buddies did create this mess when you changed the Community Reinvestment act that allowed anything with a pulse to receive a mortgage, did nothing about the the problems inside Fannie and Freddie’s accounting, and then helped Bush 43 spend us into oblivion.
Please, please, please!!!! campaign for your buddies. Help them out the way you did Martha Coakley, John Corzine, and Creigh Deeds.
Historic patterns and the current political climate all but guarantee that both the House and Senate will lose Democrats in the election, and administration officials concede the Republicans have a chance of winning control of the House.
Obama acknowledged that the results will help determine the course of his term’s second half. “I am spending some time thinking about 2010 because, obviously, my ability to get things done on behalf of the American people depends on a Congress that is willing to cooperate,” he said.
His term’s second half? There’s some wishful thinking considered the information that is starting to rise to the surface about Sestak, Romanoff, and possibly Blago.
In his firmest declaration yet that he views the calamity as an impetus to push Congress afresh to pass a major energy and climate bill, Obama vowed to “move forward in a bold way in a direction that finally gives us the kind of future-oriented, … visionary energy policy that we so vitally need and has been absent for so long..”
“One of the biggest leadership challenges for me going forward is going to be to make sure that we draw the right lessons from this disaster,” he said.
Biggest leadership challenges? I thought that was walking and chewing gum at the same time; the decision being which foot to put forward first.
1.decadent: marked by excessive self-indulgence and moral decay; “a decadent life of excessive money and no sense of responsibility”; “a group of effete self-professed intellectuals” 2.Lacking strength or vitality; feeble, powerless, impotent; decadent, self-indulgent, effeminate
Obama has raised the embarrassment level past the ‘bury your head in the comforter’ stage we experienced during the ‘Apology Tour’. In his immature teenage angst of an ‘over your head’ situation, and indulged spoilt brat manner, Barry has blamed Congress for the BP oil leak. Just wait, America; you will be next because of your unbelievable appetite for energy to fuel your businesses, cars, flat screens, home temperature comfort levels, and food. It’s all your fault right after Bush and Congress! None of this would be happening if we weren’t messing with the Appointed One’s vacation life groove!
President Barack Obama said Friday that some members of Congress should share the blame for the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.
In an interview with POLITICO, the president said: “I think it’s fair to say, if six months ago, before this spill had happened, I had gone up to Congress and I had said we need to crack down a lot harder on oil companies and we need to spend more money on technology to respond in case of a catastrophic spill, there are folks up there, who will not be named, who would have said this is classic, big-government overregulation and wasteful spending.”
The president also implied that anti-big government types such as Tea Party activists were being hypocritical on the issue.
“Some of the same folks who have been hollering and saying ‘do something’ are the same folks who, just two or three months ago, were suggesting that government needs to stop doing so much,” Obama said. “Some of the same people who are saying the president needs to show leadership and solve this problem are some of the same folks who, just a few months ago, were saying this guy is trying to engineer a takeover of our society through the federal government that is going to restrict our freedoms.”
Obama’s comments, during a 36-minute Oval Office interview, come as the public is giving the federal government low marks for its response to the BP oil spill, according to recent polls. Obama travels to the Gulf Monday and Tuesday and has invited top BP executives to the White House for a meeting Wednesday.
As to accusations that he is not showing enough passion in fighting the oil spill, the president blamed the media.
“You know, what I think I get frustrated with sometimes, as do, I suspect, other members of my team, is that the media specifically is demanding things that the public aren’t demanding,” the president said. “What the public wants to see is us solving this problem. And that may not make for good TV.”
AYFKM? ENOUGH ALREADY! Presidents of the United States of America are not whining, blame assigning losers! This is what happens when a completely inexperienced, spineless, entitled, placed, and groomed puppet is installed in the most mentally demanding, energy-sucking, and dangerous job in the world. Way down deep, Americans know they still are cowboys with a ten gallon hat and a rope. Barack Obama ain’t that…not.so.much….nope…not working for me…
Stop worrying about the freakin’ polls and the pundits. Show the country that you and your team are working to solve the problem instead of trying to distract Americans with finger pointing.
MUST SEE VIDEO: Lindsey Williams on Alex Jones about the oil volcano that is being covered up by BP and the government. Mr. Williams states that he has an contact inside BP that has disclosed to him that BP was drilling far deeper than reported, and that the PSI is at around 70,000; far beyond human capacity to close. He also states that toxic gases are being released into the air and the gulf states are at risk.
Do these images from the video below look like an oil leak or a volcano (29:35). After watching this video, I have no doubt that it a volcano and the strict media blackout and closure of the airspace over the disaster reinforces that belief.
