Awards for today would be the Natomas (Sacramento), California School District sending out the district student services director, Heyman Matlock and a nurse to immunize children for whooping cough at their homes (and track down truant children to boot.)
The best part? California parents are allowed by another state law to opt out of vaccinations. ABC News10 has left that particular piece of information out of their report.
