Judge Napolitano’s opening statements include how the progessives have been controlling the message through the corporate owned media, how the Obama administration came out swinging against Rush Limbaugh and Fox News, and that he believes this “government hates and fears free speech and wants to shut it down”.
Glenn’s clips start with how Obama mimics Woodrow Wilson’s policies about too much information in the public marketplace, and trends into Wilson’s Espionage and Sedition Acts. Glenn also shows how he has been accused of sedition, and how Cass Sunstein thinks that conspiracy theorists are seditious. That would be millions of us, now wouldn’t it?
Politico probably realized that when Bambi’s administration brought David Plouffe back that the 2012 campaign was gearing up and they got the exclusive story of how the quietly idling machine is now revving up. The silver lining? America is already tired of his face…
President Barack Obama’s top advisers are quietly laying the groundwork for the 2012 reelection campaign, which is likely to be run out of Chicago and managed by White House deputy chief of staff Jim Messina, according to Democrats familiar with the discussions.
For now, the planning consists entirely of private conversations, with Obama aides at all levels indulging occasionally in closed-door 2012 discussions while focusing ferociously on the midterm elections and health care reform, the Democratic sources said. “The gathering storm is the 2010 elections,” one top official said.
But the sources said Obama has given every sign of planning to run again and wants the next campaign to resemble the highly successful 2008 effort.
David Axelrod, White House senior adviser, may leave the West Wing to rejoin his family in Chicago and reprise his role as Obama’s muse, overseeing the campaign’s tone, themes, messages and advertising, the sources said.
David Plouffe, the Obama for America campaign manager, described by one friend as “the father of all this,” will be a central player in the reelect, perhaps as an outside adviser.
“The conversations are beginning, but decisions haven’t been made,” a top official said. “If you look at David Plouffe’s stepped-up level of activity with the political organization [as an outside adviser on the 2010 races], that is obviously the beginning of the process.”
Anita Dunn, former White House communications director, will be intimately involved, too. Brad Woodhouse, the Democratic National Committee’s communications director, enjoys rising stock and would be a logical choice to be communications director for the reelection campaign, the sources said.
White House press secretary Robert Gibbs, White House communications director Dan Pfeiffer and senior adviser Valerie Jarrett are likely to remain at the president’s side in Washington, while exercising major influence over the campaign. Pfeiffer, communications director of the last campaign and always a trusted insider, has a higher public profile every day.
Obama’s campaign will get a head start from the large machine he has built at the DNC, including Organizing for America, the successor to his grass-roots campaign operation.
OFA is now a DNC project with staff in all 50 states and has worked to keep Obama’s army active through engagement on health care and other issues.
Whatever the republicans are doing, they better step up their game because at this point, they do not have a candidate that can beat OFA especially if immigration reform gets shoved through.
Team O is the definition of predictable. For those of us that have been sounding the alarm about Obama’s socialism since well before Joe the Plumber received the ‘spread the wealth’ comment, the knowledge of exactly how Team O is going to continue it’s fascist march for total control of your life social justice is a relief. Obama’s crew are Alinsky acolytes who will follow the ideology to the very end with very little departure from the “Rules For Radicals”. This particular administration is not going to change course or listen to the ‘dirty masses’ because they ‘won’ and they just know better than the rest of us what is best for us. When in doubt – lie, cheat, steal, change the rules, and spin, spin, spin…
Senior White House adviser David Axelrod on Sunday said that the Obama administration remains committed to its agenda after a week of setbacks.
Axelrod vowed that the president would not back down on passing a healthcare reform legislation and would use the State of the Union address on Wednsday to lay out “additional steps” to energize the sputtering economy.
“He’s going to go at it, he’s going to stick to it, because there is too much at stake,” Axelrod said on CNN’s “State of the Union.”
When one has a group of revolutionaries who have finally captured the White House en masse, even thinking about backing away from their chance to control Americans and their descendants would be a cardinal sin, and just too big a temptation to pass up. These folks only have a few more months to achieve the flip so they are ‘all in’.
“You’ll hear in the State of the Union some of his ideas about additional steps that we can take to create and stir hiring around the country,” he added.
This is just more of the same rhetoric that Obama has been spouting for months. If the White House was concerned about creating jobs, they would not have been pushing health care for ten months. I understand that health care is chewing up budgets, but in our current situation, focusing on health care is like putting a bandaid on a scratch when the patient is in full cardiac arrest.
A number of events occurred last week that critics used in saying that President Barack Obama should take a step back and readjust his priorities in 2010.
On Tuesday, Republican Scott Brown dealt Democrat Martha Coakley a surprising defeat in the Massachusetts special Senate election. When he is seated Brown will become the 41st GOP senator, breaking the Democrats’ 60-seat filibuster-proof majority.
The new political environment in the Senate has caused Democratic leaders to readjust their strategy to pass their bill, though Republican critics have called on them to halt their effort. But Axelrod reiterated that Obama will continue the negotiations.
“The president will not walk away from the American people,” Axelrod said on ABC’s “This Week.” “[He] will not hand them over to the tender mercies of the health insurance companies.”
Don’t lie to us David. Obama never walked WITH the American people. Obama made deals with the insurance companies, big pharma, and the unions; not exactly your average American. Health care reform was never about bringing the insurance companies into line. If one wanted to achieve that, laws would have been passed immediately to allow insurance companies to compete across state lines, and force them to stop using pre-existing conditions as a reason for denial.
Obama’s renomination of Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke also ran into trouble this week as bloc of senators channeled voter outrage over the struggling economy in opposing his second term.
Over a dozen senators from both parties have questioned Bernanke’s role in the baking bailouts during the financial crisis of 2008.
“Understand that chairman Bernanke offered very strong and steady leadership during this crisis without which we may have slipped into the abyss,” he said on “State of the Union.” “The president is very confident that the chairman will be confirmed.”
Axelrod acknowledged voter anger over the economy and stressed that the Obama administration could solve its problems. He said that former President George W. Bush handed Obama a faltering economy and large debts and that Obama’s popularity has suffered as a result.
“You can’t govern in an economy like this without great disaffection,” he said.
George Bush handed Obama a faltering economy? AYFKM? Obama RAN to become president to fix the economy, and no amount of blaming Bush is going to make the video tape of the campaign trail go away. Barry KNEW exactly what he was getting into and welcomed it. If he wants to play dumb, well then maybe he isn’t qualified to be president? Oh ****, we already knew that.
Obama, October, 2008: 1:54:
“I cannot imagine anything more important to talk about than the economic crisis and the notion that we would want to brush that aside and engage in the usual political shenanigans and smear tactics that have come to characterize too many political campaigns is not what the American people are looking for.”
So back to the question; if the economy was so frakkin’ important in October 2008, why has this administration been pushing health care for the past year? Answer: to make the crisis worse, Americans more desperate, and create a climate for the government to come to the rescue. Only problem is that this group of folks really think that someone other the American People and Their Wallets are the government. Unemployment is around 23% which means tax revenues are continuing to fall and yet, this government wants to raise the debt ceiling by another $2 Trillion. Do the math kids, everything with Team O is planned, organized, and intentional. NOBODY is this stupid.
As for David? Axelrod is a hack; pay attention to Organizing for America and David Plouffe.
It is obvious that Obama has thin skin when it comes to his critics, but I never thought David Axelrod was stupid or egotistical enough to get into a “size” match with another politico, especially Karl Rove. I definitely was wrong. Readers, think about what the Alinsky trained, Obama crew does every time someone scares them or points out their stupidity; FoxNews, Glenn Beck, Joe the Plumber, Sarah Palin, Independent Inspector Generals, etc. Given their track record, the White House and David Axelrod must be absolutely terrified of Karl Rove. This situation seems to have gone one step further with dueling presidential advisors. Why else would David, (the Chicago Hack), be stupid enough to take on The Master, Karl Rove (the guy that convinced the country to give Bush a second term)? David and Karl may both be intellectuals, but David will never reach Karl’s level of intelligence, and a smackdown of founding fathers’ proportions is more than likely on the way. What does it gain the White House for David to try to prove he’s smarter than Karl, and does he really think this is going to end well for either him or the White House when the facts are against them.
After you watch Karl wind himself up during an interview with Greta, David’s stupidity in black and white follows. You and I could shoot holes through the lies in this opinion piece.
For its Topic A feature last Sunday, The Post invited a panel of political operatives to offer their advice to the Democratic Party on strategy for 2010 [Sunday Opinion, Jan. 10]. Improbably, one of the operatives asked was Karl Rove, President George W. Bush’s longtime chief strategist.
Rove has some impressive campaign victories to his credit. But given the shape in which the last administration left this country, I’m not sure I would solicit his advice. And given the backhanded advice he offered, I’m not sure he was all that eager to help.
Of all the claims Rove made, one in particular caught my eye for its sheer audacity and shamelessness — that congressional Democrats “will run up more debt by October than Bush did in eight years.”
So, let’s review a little history:
The day the Bush administration took over from President Bill Clinton in 2001, America enjoyed a $236 billion budget surplus — with a projected 10-year surplus of $5.6 trillion. When the Bush administration left office, it handed President Obama a $1.3 trillion deficit — and projected shortfalls of $8 trillion for the next decade. During eight years in office, the Bush administration passed two major tax cuts skewed to the wealthiest Americans, enacted a costly Medicare prescription-drug benefit and waged two wars, without paying for any of it.
To put the breathtaking scope of this irresponsibility in perspective, the Bush administration’s swing from surpluses to deficits added more debt in its eight years than all the previous administrations in the history of our republic combined. And its spending spree is the unwelcome gift that keeps on giving: Going forward, these unpaid-for policies will continue to add trillions to our deficit.
This fiscal irresponsibility — and a laissez-faire attitude toward the excesses of the financial industry — helped create the conditions for the deepest economic catastrophe since the Great Depression. Economists across the political spectrum agreed that to deal with this crisis and avoid a second Great Depression, the government had to make significant investments to keep our economy going and shore up our financial system.
That is why President Obama and Congress crafted the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Despite Rove’s assertion, it is widely accepted that the difficult but necessary steps Obama took have helped save our economy from an even deeper disaster. And while Rove conveniently ignores that it was President Bush — not Obama — who signed into law the $700 billion Troubled Asset Relief Program bailout for banks, the Obama administration’s rigorous stewardship added transparency and accountability that have cut the expected cost of that program by two-thirds.
If you want to read the rest, hit the above link, and for those that are interested, this op-ed piece in the Wall Street Journal sure sounds like Karl is calling Obama a liar.
While speaking Friday night to a group of young conservatives, Mitt Romney made some scathing (but incredibly truthful) remarks about the pResident’s lack of strategy on the Afghanistan war and the apparent lack of concern for our troops. It appears that those remarks hit the bulls-eye as David Axelrod had to run out to CNN’s John King this morning to verbally stumble through an attack rebutt those comments.
WASHINGTON (CNN)– Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney delivered a scathing criticism of President Obama’s Afghanistan strategy Friday night, accusing the president of delivering rhetoric and not action in the war-torn country.
Quoting from a speech Obama delivered in March, Romney agreed with the president “that ‘we are in Afghanistan to confront a common enemy that threatens the United States, our friends and allies.”‘ Romney continued on seconding the president: “I believe ‘that to succeed, we and our friends and allies must reverse the Taliban’s gains, and promote a more capable and accountable Afghan government.'”
But Romney went on to criticize Obama for not holding enough meetings with top generals, and inadequately preparing for the elections in Afghanistan.
“The President has held his job for 10 months but does not yet have a strategy,” Romney said during his speech before the Young America’s Foundation in Santa Barbara, California. “What has he been doing that is more important than protecting the lives of the troops of which he is Commander-in-Chief? He has been campaigning- rallying at phony town meetings and making over 30 campaign stops for fellow Democrats. This President’s inattention and dereliction remind me of those Northwest Airlines pilots who were so distracted from their jobs that they lost their way. But in this case, the consequences are far more severe.”
“This is a president who is learning on the fly,” Romney said. “He’s never turned anything around before. He hasn’t had the experience of leading a nation or a business or a state in trouble. And the first rule I can tell him is focus, focus, focus. “
Mr. Romney? Barack Obama is focused, just not on anything that resembles helping America.
David Axelrod, CNN’s State of The Union: 11.15.09:
I know that Governor Romney has never had responsibility for any decision akin to this, and so he may just not be familiar with all that it entails…
This White House just does not do well with or without an opponent, but because Obama appears to be running for king of the world, he has to attack people here at home instead of taking care of the relevant issues here at home; Tea Partiers, The Military, Senior Citizens, and the escalating campaign against Fox News. At what point are the teenagers in the WH going to understand that we are getting very tired of this behavior and a time out is coming soon.
The White House is calling on other news organizations to isolate and alienate Fox News as it sends out top advisers to rail against the cable channel as a Republican Party mouthpiece.
Top political strategists question the decision by the Obama administration to escalate its offensive against Fox News. And as of Monday, the four other major television networks had not given any indication that they intend to sever their ties with Fox News.
But several top White House officials have taken aim at Fox News since communications director Anita Dunn branded Fox “opinion journalism masquerading as news” in an interview last Sunday.
White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel told CNN on Sunday that President Obama does not want “the CNNs and the others in the world [to] basically be led in following Fox.”
Obama senior adviser David Axelrod went further by calling on media outlets to join the administration in declaring that Fox is “not a news organization.”
“Other news organizations like yours ought not to treat them that way,” Axelrod counseled ABC’s George Stephanopoulos. “We’re not going to treat them that way.”
Asked Monday about another Axelrod claim that Fox News is just trying to make money, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said that while all media companies fall under that description, “I would say sometimes programming can be tilted toward accentuating those profits.”
But by urging other news outlets to side with the administration, Obama officials dramatically upped the ante in the war of words that began earlier this month with Dunn’s comments.
So far, none of the four other major networks has given any indication that they wish to disinvite Fox News from the White House pool — the rotation through which the networks share the costs and duties of White House coverage and the most significant interaction among the news channels.
The White House stopped providing guests to “Fox News Sunday” after host Chris Wallace fact-checked controversial assertions made by Tammy Duckworth, assistant secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs, in August.
Dunn said fact-checking an administration official was “something I’ve never seen a Sunday show do.”
“She criticized ‘Fox News Sunday’ last week for fact-checking — fact-checking — an administration official,” Wallace said Sunday. “They didn’t say that our fact-checking was wrong. They just said that we had dared to fact-check.”
“Let’s fact-check Anita Dunn, because last Sunday she said that Fox ignores Republican scandals, and she specifically mentioned the scandal involving Nevada senator John Ensign,” Wallace added. “A number of Fox News shows have run stories about Senator Ensign. Anita Dunn’s facts were just plain wrong.”
Fox News senior vice president Michael Clemente said: “Surprisingly, the White House continues to declare war on a news organization instead of focusing on the critical issues that Americans are concerned about like jobs, health care and two wars. The door remains open and we welcome a discussion about the facts behind the issues.”
This behavior coming from our pResident and the Leader of the Free World. I am so embarrassed.
It appears that the White House, while taking four days, has figured out who to blame and how to sidestep their role in the suspect activity of the unsolicited emails and spam that people have been receiving from senior White House advisor David Axelrod concerning healthcare reform.
The White House statement from Nick Shapiro:
The White House e-mail list is made up of e-mail addresses obtained solely through the White House website. The White House doesn’t purchase, upload or merge from any other list. … [A]ll e-mails come from the White House website as we have no interest in emailing anyone who does not want to receive an email. If an individual received the e-mail because someone else or a group signed them up or forwarded the email, we hope they were not too inconvenienced. Further, we suggest that they unsubscribe from the list by clicking the link at the bottom of the e-mail or tell whomever forwarded it to them not to forward such information anymore.
We are implementing measures to make subscribing to emails clearer including preventing advocacy organizations from signing people up to our lists without their permission when they deliver petition signatures and other messages on individual’s behalf.
I rarely tell somebody “I Told You So” because so often it comes back around to bite ya in the butt, but this is one situation where I am comfortable making the statement “We Told You!” about the coming Obama Idiocy because America is now so incredibly on fire due to decisions and programs that former administrations and congresses have made since Teddy Roosevelt that Obama and his socialist absorption of our entire economy is just the final straw on the camel’s back.
We told you this guy was a fraud and a poseur, and 69 million lemmings still decided that buying this guy’s marketed image as the savior was going to cut it.
Too bad reality is still kicking his butt. Too bad that the “Silent Majority” has woken up and is no longer silent. The rest of America is NOT going to be held hostage by those 69 million that rolled the dice and doubled down.
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 29% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-seven percent (37%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -8 (see trends).
Overall, 47% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President’s performance. That’s the lowest level of total approval yet recorded. The President’s ratings first fell below 50% just a few weeks ago on July 25. Fifty-two percent (52%) now disapprove.
Seventy-seven percent (77%) of Republicans disapprovealong with 65% of those not affiliated with either party. Seventy-eight percent (78%) of Democrats offer their approval. Most women (51%) offer their approval while most men (56%) disapprove. For more measures of the President’s performance, see Obama By the Numbers and recent demographic highlights from the tracking polls.
Most voters (60%) continue to believe the nation is heading down the wrong track, although that number is unchanged from a week ago. But it’s down three points from the third week in January.
The percentage of voters who believe the country is moving in the right direction spiked at 40% in early May, hovered around 37% through June and now has been in the low- to mid-30s over the past month. The latest finding is up 14 points from the week Obama was elected president in November.
The numbers do not lie. We are still losing jobs, the unemployment percentage is wrong because it does not include people that are partially employed and on the way to full unemployment (like myself), the people that are no longer getting benefits but are still without a job, and those that have stopped looking. The commercial real estate bubble is about to pop, the banks are still underwater, this administration is trying to absorb almost all of the economy, David Axelrod is sending emails trying to counter the “un-American” protestors, and Robert Gibbs saying that the townhall protests are not indicative of what is really happening in America. Sorry Robbie – there are many more of us and we are telling everybody!
Kids, we are broke, broke, broke…and Obama and the Fed printing money like there is no tomorrow is NOT GOING TO HELP!

Eight days ago I did something I have not done in months; I bought a bottle of wine and drank 3/4 of it in one evening in the hope that a little self-medication would relieve my angst. For 8 days, I have been suspended in that split second of motionless time when you see the train wreck about to occur and are trying to decide whether to watch in horror or turn away. That moment right before time catches up with itself and slams into “real time” and the horror unfolds. The only difference right now is that I do not know what the train is, just that something is coming, and that the usurper in charge is creating more and more instability in the world with his every word and action.
I have been watching the distract and deflect manuevers from the administration, reading the corporate owned newpapers, and digging for information on items that have been blacked out; i.e. David Kellerman, Mark I. Levy, and the swine flu infected pigs in Canada. Yet what we are being fed is the lies about the torture photographs, the lies about Pelosi’s knowledge or lack thereof concerning waterboarding, the Federal Reserve pleading stupid while ‘losing’ $9 Trillion dollars, and all I can think is “How Stupid Do They Think We Are?” The Fed didn’t lose $9 Trillion, they just don’t want to tell anybody where it went; it was Bambi’s idea to release the photographs in the first place, and Nazi Nancy knew about everything because ‘she is what she is’. Meanwhile, TurboTax Cheating Timmie and Bambi are flying the following fascist b*llsh*t right under the radar, and everybody wants to keep calling Barack Obama a socialist, when I believe he is a fascist who thinks he is something of a cross between Hitler and the Ottoman Empire. Read the following excerpt and remember that it gets even better after this. Can anybody identify the traitors to the United States?
Administration in Early Talks on Ways to Curb Compensation Across Finance
WASHINGTON — The Obama administration has begun serious talks about how it can change compensation practices across the financial-services industry, including at companies that did not receive federal bailout money, according to people familiar with the matter.
The initiative, which is in its early stages, is part of an ambitious and likely controversial effort to broadly address the way financial companies pay employees and executives, including an attempt to more closely align pay with long-term performance.
Administration and regulatory officials are looking at various options, including using the Federal Reserve’s supervisory powers, the power of the Securities and Exchange Commission and moral suasion. Officials are also looking at what could be done legislatively.
Among ideas being discussed are Fed rules that would curb banks’ ability to pay employees in a way that would threaten the “safety and soundness” of the bank — such as paying loan officers for the volume of business they do, not the quality. The administration is also discussing issuing “best practices” to guide firms in structuring pay.
At the same time, House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank (D., Mass.) is working on legislation that could strengthen the government’s ability both to monitor compensation and to curb incentives that threaten a company’s viability or pose a systemic risk to the economy.
It is unclear how such a bill would fit with what the Fed and others are already considering. But any legislation passed would make it harder for policy makers to dial back limits once the financial crisis subsides.
Any new compensation rules would likely be rolled out alongside a broader revamp of financial-markets regulation that the Treasury is pushing. The compensation effort is the latest example of the government’s increasing focus on aspects of the financial sector that once were untouched.
Say one thing and do another:
Government officials said their effort, which is just beginning, isn’t aimed at setting pay or establishing detailed rules. “This is not going to be about capping compensationor micro-management,” said an administration official. “It will be about understanding what is the best way to align compensation with sound risk management and long-term value creation.”
President Barack Obama and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner have both blamed the way banks structured compensation plans for contributing to the financial mess. In February, Mr. Obama said executive pay helped lead to a “reckless culture and a quarter-by-quarter mentality that in turn helped to wreak havoc in our financial system.”
Mr. Geithner recently instructed his staff to begin discussions with the Fed, the SEC and others about ways to address compensation practices.
During a recent congressional hearing, Chairman Ben Bernanke said the Fed was working on rules that will “ask or tell banks to structure their compensation, not just at the very top level but down much further, in a way that is consistent with safety and soundness — which means that payments, bonuses and so on should be tied to performance and should not induce excessive risk.”
In an indication of how broad the effort may become, Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. Chairman Sheila Bair said regulators need to examine compensation practices in the mortgage industry, suggesting new limits could stretch beyond banks.
But Wait! There’s More!
Professor Roubini is not the only economist speaking the truth about the fall of the dollar as the world’s reserve currency. After this little blurb, you will see why our dollar is more than likely going to crash, and reduce the once great United States to a third world country that is controlled by the United Nations and the world globalists.
Professor Roubini, of New York University’s Stern business school, believes that while such a major change is some way off, the Chinese government is laying the ground for the yuan’s ascendance.
Known as “Dr Doom” for his negative stance, Prof Roubini argues that China is better placed than the US to provide a reserve currency for the 21st century because it has a large current account surplus, focused government and few of the economic worries the US faces.
In a column in the New York Times, Prof Roubini warns that with the proposal for a new international reserve currency via the International Monetary Fund, Beijing has already begun to take steps to usurp the greenback.
China will soon want to see the yuan included in the International Monetary Fund’s special drawing rights “basket”, he warns, as well as seeing it “used as a means of payment in bilateral trade.”
From the dipshit-in-charge, and the person who will forever be etched in my mind as the perennial winner of the ‘Today’s Are You Freakin’ Kidding Me? Award’, his holiness, Barack Obama.
May 14 (Bloomberg) — President Barack Obama, calling current deficitspending “unsustainable,” warned of skyrocketing interest rates for consumers if the U.S. continues to finance government by borrowing from other countries.
“We can’t keep on just borrowing from China,” Obama said at a town-hall meeting in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, outside Albuquerque. “We have to pay interest on that debt, and that means we are mortgaging our children’s future with more and more debt.”
Holders of U.S. debt will eventually “get tired” of buying it, causing interest rates on everything from auto loans to home mortgages to increase, Obama said. “It will have a dampening effect on our economy.”
Earlier this week, the Obama administration revised its own budget estimates and raised the projected deficit for this year to a record $1.84 trillion, up 5 percent from the February estimate. The revision for the 2010 fiscal year estimated the deficit at $1.26 trillion, up 7.4 percent from the February figure. The White House Office of Management and Budget also projected next year’s budget will end up at $3.59 trillion, compared with the $3.55 trillion it estimated previously.
Two weeks ago, the president proposed $17 billion in budget cuts, with plans to eliminate or reduce 121 federal programs. Republicans ridiculed the amount, saying that it represented one-half of 1 percent of the entire budget. They noted that Obama is seeking an $81 billion increase in other spending.
This is $17 Billion in cuts after some $12 Trillion in spending. What few realize is that the U.S. is $1.24 QUADRILLION in debt when the Social Security balloon is added into the equation, yet this frakkin’ idiot and the brain dead congress are spending with no concern for us or future generations because it appears they definitely know something we don’t.
In his New Mexico appearance, the president pledged to work with Congress to shore up entitlement programs such as Social Security and Medicare. He also said he was confident that the House and Senate would pass health-care overhaul bills by August.
“Most of what is driving us into debt is health care, so we have to drive down costs,” he said.
NO! What is driving us into debt is the ponzi scheme of Social Security and BARACK OBAMA’S ADMINISTRATION AND DEMOCRAT DRIVEN CONGRESS who have now been empowered after 100 years of bad decisions and unconstitutional laws and mandates being passed by frakkin’ socialists. The Founding Fathers are way past turning in their graves now.
“We’ve got a long way to go before we put this recession behind us,” Obama said. “But we do know that the gears of our economy, our economic engine, are slowly beginning to turn.”
If that were true, Chrysler and GM would not be the situation they are in, credit would not still be frozen after the TARP money was dispersed, (the banks are waiting for the commercial real estate bubble to pop), and we would NOT be reading these headlines:
BOSTON (MarketWatch) — Fitch Ratings on Friday gave the markets notice that it may issue wholesale ratings downgrades on the U.S. banking sector if credit conditions and the economy continue to worsen.
Given all that information in one little string of facts over marketing, here is something everybody should be thinking about and considering; do you believe there are late night meetings at the WH that are attended by David Axelrod, Rahm Emanuel, and Michelle Obama while his holiness sleeps? Would this not explain:
His absolute need for a cheat-sheet called a teleprompter, and
His inability to make a decision and stick with it because it wasn’t his idea to begin with?
How far off do you think I am? Now excuse me, I have a train wreck to watch…
