10:10 “No Pressure” Mini Movie Yanked

10:10global.org (climate change group) has created a new mini movie that they have since yanked from their site and apologized for due to the highly offensive nature of blowing children up.

This particular movie was being billed as humor.  I am now convinced that being a progressive moonbat is a mental disorder and I am wondering if Big Pharma has a prescription med ready-in-waiting for these tools of the global elite once they have fulfilled their mission.

No mountain too high; no sea too wide for the progressives that believe they know better and should be allowed to rain down fascism on a free people with our blessings.  (Oops, the moos are awake…)

Climate Change Propaganda 10-10 mini-movie – No Pressure

Here is the apology:

Sorry.

Today we put up a mini-movie about 10:10 and climate change called ‘No Pressure’.

With climate change becoming increasingly threatening, and decreasingly talked about in the media, we wanted to find a way to bring this critical issue back into the headlines whilst making people laugh. We were therefore delighted when Britain’s leading comedy writer, Richard Curtis – writer of Blackadder, Four Weddings, Notting Hill and many others – agreed to write a short film for the 10:10 campaign. Many people found the resulting film extremely funny, but unfortunately some didn’t and we sincerely apologise to anybody we have offended.

As a result of these concerns we’ve taken it off our website. We won’t be making any attempt to censor or remove other versions currently in circulation on the internet.

We’d like to thank the 50+ film professionals and 40+ actors and extras and who gave their time and equipment to the film for free. We greatly value your contributions and the tremendous enthusiasm and professionalism you brought to the project.

At 10:10 we’re all about trying new and creative ways of getting people to take action on climate change. Unfortunately in this instance we missed the mark. Oh well, we live and learn.

Onwards and upwards,

Franny, Lizzie, Eugenie and the whole 10:10 team

What is the 10:10 Initiative you ask?  Yet another global climate change group that is still trying to convince you that climate change is real, and they took it to their next level of shock and awe.  Polar bears falling from the sky wasn’t enough; let’s blow up children and regular moos.

10:10 Global.org

10:10 was initially launched as a UK campaign on the 1st September 2009, but on that very first day we received an email from Malaysia: “Hi! I’d love to start a 10:10 campaign here. What do I do?”.

Over 100 enquiries followed in the next few months, until we finally admitted we had to go global.

Since then, 10:10 has taken off in 40 countries, and there are new hubs gearing up all the time.

Find out how it all began, or read on for some highlights of the 10:10 Global journey so far….

hub Highlights

10:10 France launched on 5th June, with UN good will ambassador Yann Arthus-Bertrand at the helm (best known for his cult series of aerial photography books, ‘Earth from Above’).  He and his formidable team at Good Planet have already gathered sign ups from the likes of L’Oreal, Accor, the French Tennis Federation, Football Club Saint-Etienne, the Minister of Education, and mayors of Lille, Paris, Le Mans, and Mouans-Sartoux. Partnerships with France’s biggest broadcaster and newspaper have seen to it that the campaign has been featured on TV shows “Mots Croisés” and Le Grand Journal and on French national radio.

Obama Makes A Deal In Copenhagen

Obama got the Chinese, Indians and South Africans to agree to “something” because he couldn’t come back empty-handed again.  One big problem though; the funneling of money to developing countries from you know who.

From WSJ.  (Go over if you have time.  It’s a very indepth article.)

Obama Reaches ‘Meaningful Agreement’ on Climate Change

The White House said Friday that U.S. President Barack Obama, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao, Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and South African President Jacob Zuma reached a “meaningful agreement” for combating climate change. The deal was described by an administration official as “not sufficient to combat the threat of climate change but it’s an important first step.”

The White House official said developed and developing countries have agreed to listing their national actions and commitments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. There will be a mechanism to funnel money to help developing nations pay for technology and projects to cope with the affects of climate change, such as rising sea levels.

The agreement sets a target of two degrees Celsius for the increase in global temperatures. Countries are supposed to provide information on the implementation of actions to cut carbon dioxide emissions through national communications, with provisions for international consultations and analysis under clearly defined guidelines, the official said.

Has anyone asked the Earth what her plans are on raising or lowering her temperature?

Details of the language on verification of steps to curb greenhouse gases – which could be critical to political acceptance of the agreement in Congress – weren’t immediately available. The so-called transparency issue was a critical stumbling block in discussions between the U.S. and China.

Once again, complete and total lack of transparency from the jet-setting dictator-wanna-be.

The Dems’ Answer To Any “Crisis”, Imagined Or Otherwise – Throw Money At It!

The Dems’ Answer To Any “Crisis”, Imagined Or Otherwise – Throw Money At It!

I am very, very, very, cranky today, and I’m know I am going take a lot of heat for some of the statements included in this post, but I am saying things that I believe more people than just myself believe.

I do not support Hillary Clinton’s progressive, socialist, global one-governmentness, and ever since I did the research on her and found her to be more ‘red’ than Barry, I just find that everything she says and does is 100% suspect.  I also find that because of Hillary Clinton, I no longer trust any politician or voice in the spot-light, including Sarah Palin.  Sorry Sarah; I love ya to death, but I am still waiting for the other shoe to drop on you too. (You know you are thinking the same thing about numerous leaders right now.)

Hillary has thrown $100 Billion of our cash up against the UN wall in hopes of making the whole climate change argument stick, to get the sham back on track, and to help the third world with the climate change that is right now continuing to be proven to be based on false data.  Hillary Clinton and the Dems are skipping down the yellow brick road as though nothing is happening around them, and are hell bent on their only way of fixing real or imagined crises; the U.S. Government giving away the compensation for our life energy and time away from our loved ones to other people.  Hoorah for guilt and social justice at it’s best.

The “people in charge” just do not get it.  The average American salary is around $40K, not $150K or $1 Million, but they keep spending our money on causes that we do not espouse like we are all millionaires.  If I still had my 42K job, and was “allowed” to keep most of what I earned, then I would be able to meet my financial obligations, afford healthcare, and still give to charities.  Not then…not now…because of the tax burden due to stupidity like Copenhagen, the stupidity of the Bush administration that sunk us into two wars, the stupidity of administrations and congresses in the past who believed in entitlements for all, and the stupidity of this congress that thought giving away trillions was the best idea for saving the economy and our jobs.  I am sick to death of all of them, and the time for a reset is coming.

Meanwhile, we are still staring at this, which was caused by those previous administrations and congresses, and I for one, am trying to figure out how one balances that clock against reality; and then just throw in the dems’ willy-nilly perchant for wasting our money hither and yon with what appears to be bribes and pay-offs.  This government is pledging to give the UN $100 Billion for a farce, it gave $300 Million to Mary Landrieu for her healthcare vote, and $38 Billion to Citibank for god knows what, (and let’s not forget the $1.1 Trillion Spending Increase.)

Exactly how much money is there in the world, and where is Lee Ioccoca when ya need him?

(Okay – I feel better.  Tell me what you think.)

Daniel Hannan, Lisbon Treaty & The Loss Of The UK’s Sovereignty To The EU

Daniel Hannan on global governance due to climate change. I wonder what he will say after ClimateGate really hits.

An op-ed from British MEP Daniel Hannan.

At midnight last night, the United Kingdom ceased to be a sovereign state

We woke up in a different country today. Alright, it doesn’t look very different. The trees still seem black against the winter sun; the motorways continue to jam inexplicably; commuters carry on avoiding eye contact. But Britain is no longer a sovereign nation. At midnight last night, we ceased to be an independent state, bound by international treaties to other independent states, and became instead a subordinate unit within a European state.

Yes, a European state. Take a quick dekko at the definition set out in Article One of the1933 Montevideo Convention on the Rights and Duties of States: “The state as a person of international law should possess the following qualifications: (a) a permanent population; (b) a defined territory; (c) government; and (d) capacity to enter into relations with the other states.”

Until yesterday, the EU qualified on grounds (a), (b) and (c). Now it has ticked the final box. Under the Lisbon Treaty, which came into force today, it acquires “legal personality”, which gives it the right to sign accords and treat with other states. Nor is this right simply theoretical: the EU now has a foreign minister, a diplomatic corps (the European External Action Service) and 160 overseas embassies.

Until yesterday, the EU could not annex additional policy areas without a new treaty, which needed to be ratified by all its constituent nations. Now, it has the so-called “passerelle” clause, or self-amending mechanism. Parliament, in other words, no longer has the final say on extensions of EU jurisdiction. The EU derives its authority, not from its 27 members, but from its own foundational texts.

Until yesterday, Britain could simply walk out of the EU by abrogating the Treaty of Rome and repealing the 1972 European Communities Act. Henceforth, it will have to go through the secession procedure laid down in Lisbon. In other words – in the minds of Euro-lawyers, at any rate, if not of British constitutionalists – the EU gets to settle the terms on which its members are allowed to leave. Formal sovereignty has been shifted from the national capitals to Brussels.

It is appalling, demeaning, disgraceful that such a thing should have been done without popular consent, and in the absence of the referendum that all three parties had promised. “There’s no point in crying over spilt milk,” you might say. True. But there is every point in mopping it up.

Climategate: five Aussie MPs lead the way by resigning in disgust over carbon tax

Australia is leading the revolt against Al Gore’s great big AGW conspiracy – just as the Aussie geologist and AGW sceptic Professor Ian Plimer predicted it would.

ABC news reports that five frontbenchers from Australia’s opposition Liberal party have resigned their portfolios rather than follow their leader Malcolm Turnbull in voting with Kevin Rudd’s Government on a new Emissions Trading Scheme.

The Liberal Party is in turmoil with the resignations of five frontbenchers from their portfolios this afternoon in protest against the emissions trading scheme.

Tony Abbott, Sophie Mirabella, Tony Smith and Senators Nick Minchin and Eric Abetz have all quit their portfolios because they cannot vote for the legislation.

Senate whip Stephen Parry has also relinquished his position.

The ETS is Australia’s version of America’s proposed Cap and Trade and the EU’s various carbon reduction schemes: a way of taxing business on its CO2 output. As Professor Plimer pointed out when I interviewed him in the summer, this threatens to cause enormous economic damage in Australia’s industrial and mining heartlands, not least because both are massively dependent on Australia’s vast reserves of coal. It is correspondingly extremely unpopular with Aussie’s outside the pinko, libtard metropolitan fleshpots.

The lie of global warming makes no difference to the globalist pResident who changed his mind, (like I knew he would), and is planning on attending Copenhagen and pushing the Climate Change Emission restrictions to condemn the world to poverty and control by the UN and the shadow globalists.  The globalists are all about controlling resources; energy, oil, gold, guns, food, water, and labor.  Can we impeach him yet?

Emissions target set ahead of Copenhagen climate summit

President Barack Obama unveiled a provisional target number for lowering U.S. greenhouse gas emissions that the U.S. will present at next month’s international climate change summit in Copenhagen.

The White House said Obama would offer a provisional U.S. emissions cut of 17 percent below 2005 levels by 2020, mirroring a sweeping House climate bill that was approved over the summer. Obama will put this figure on the table “in the context of an overall deal in Copenhagen that includes robust mitigation contributions from China and the other emerging economies,” the White House said.

The Copenhagen talks are aimed at crafting a political accord, with efforts to reach a final, legally binding emissions treaty to follow next year. The U.S. is the world’s second-largest emitter of greenhouse gases behind China, and the president’s attendance will add some much needed weight to the negotiations.
“The President’s decision to go is a sign of his continuing commitment and leadership to find a global solution to the global threat of climate change, and to lay the foundation for a new, sustainable and prosperous clean energy future,” the White House said.
