NIA: Unintended Consequences

UC happens to be the government’s middle name, and National Inflation Association takes a look at the unintended consequences of government stimulus citing ‘Cash For Clunkers’ as just one prime example of how a seemingly good idea turns into one big ripple of economic toxicity.

Simple Common Sense

The silent majority (yes you – you know you are “republican operatives paid by the insurance companies”) are putting down their remotes, getting up off their couches and using Obama’s own Saul Alinsky and ACORN tactics against the Progressive Socialist Democratic Party, and the other side is stunned?

Here is the most common sense statement I have heard about why the government should get out of our doctor’s examination room and only do the jobs the Constitution provides for the federal government:

I look at this health care plan.  I see nothing that is about health or about care.  What I see is a bureaucratic nightmare Senator.  Medicaid is broke. Medicare is broke.  Social Security is broke.  And you want us to believe that a government that can’t even run a Cash For Clunkers program is going to run 1/7 of our US economy.  No Sir! No.

Today’s AYFKM? Award Goes To The Entire US Government

UPDATE: 8.3.09: The whole story from Glenn Beck:

Pay attention folks; fascism in America is alive and prospering.  According to the “Privacy Act and Security Statement” on Cars dot Gov (I’m not linking to it; are you CRAZY?).  You may have to read what follows a couple of times for it to REALLY SINK IN!  Holy Bejesus Batman!

“This application provides access to the DoT CARS system, your computer is considered a Federal computer system and is the property of the U.S. Government.” “Any or all uses of this system and all files on this system may be intercepted, monitored, recorded, copied, audited, inspected and disclosed to authorized CARS, DoT, law enforcement personnel, as well as authorized officials of other agencies, both domestic and foreign.

WTF?

Does this sound like the police programs where notification of the grand prize is sent to felons so they show up for their prize and get arrested?

It appears to be an incredibly sneaky way to obtain all of your personal data.

How are you liking Obama Now?

How’s that working out for you?

Can We Impeach Him Yet?

Make sure you watch the whole vid!
