A NATION OF SHEEP WILL BEGET A GOVERNMENT OF WOLVES
Really? Upwards of 22% ‘real unemployment’, 45 million Americans on foodstamps, the impending nuclear collapse of most global currencies (including the dollar), and the pResident of the White House and his ‘do-anything-but-productive-work’ staff are worried about the image of the lowly Christmas Tree.
Really????? It appears that he is either begging to be fired or thumbing his nose at those that might possibly consider an attempt at impeaching him over any one of a number of the controversies surrounding the mayhem he has created since being installed.
This ranks right up there with the Federal Reserve ‘losing’ $9 Trillion Dollars, the continued bonuses and bailouts at Fannie and Freddie, and borrowing money from the Big Banks to bail them out.
I think he needs to golf MORE and take his entire staff with him…and the Federal Reserve Bankers…and…the entire congress…and…
AYFKM? Really? The Tea Party is the equivalent of the Confederate Army? The Tenth Amendment is the slave amendment? No wonder so many of the liberal left are so totally clueless when it comes to what is actually going on in this country and our history (if Jesse Jackson’s disinformation is anything to go by).
I know some rather intelligent people that understand that the Tenth Amendment was used by northern states to protect runaway slaves; not the other way around…but here’s Jesse furthering the lie. (more…)
One has to love Matt’s captions for his images and links, and I guess the tea party folks weren’t explicit enough for somebody as mentally bankrupt as an international public servant that blames TurboTax for his inability to pay his taxes.
Allow me to spell it out.
STOP SPENDING MONEY MEANS STOP BORROWING!
Our debt is now the second greatest threat to the security of the nation after Barack Obama’s hidden past (can you say blackmail?)
We have been telling these ass-clowns since before Bush bailed out his buddies in the financial sector in September 2008…
(Reuters) – Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner said on Wednesday that Congress will allow the country to borrow more by agreeing to increase the $14.3 trillion debt limit.
“Congress will pass an increase in the debt limit,” Geithner told PBS Newshour.
Republicans have said they are unwilling to raise the debt ceiling without some reforms to the government spending.
Geithner said there were some lawmakers who want to take debt ceiling negotiations “to the brink” and warned that the United States could not take that risk.
“So you want Congress to move as quickly as possible to raise that, and of course, they recognize that they have to do that,” he said.
Treasury has forecast that the limit will be reached by May 16. After that point, Treasury can take emergency measures to avoid hitting the debt ceiling. But those actions will only give the United States about a two-month window before Treasury is unable to issue debt to fund government operations. District of Criminals; did you really think weeks of haggling over, roughly, $40 billion dollars was anywhere as important as the $14,282 BILLION that we owe on the national debt, the $113 TRILLION in unfunded liabilities, or did you just think that your little kabuki theatre would be all that and a bag of chips? Do the republicans really believe that Americans are so stupid as to not KNOW that the House controls all the spending of the entire government or that Ben Bernanke’s moves to save his buddies in banking, insurance, and real estate isn’t going to collapse the entire financial system and kill the goose that laid the golden egg (the middle class)?
Maybe. Maybe not; but America is picking sides right now, and the district of criminals is not falling on the proper side of history. Fair warning…
We keep hearing that it is all about cutting the budget. In fact, House Speaker John Boehner says that his party is “damn serious about it”.
But that is a joke. The federal budget deficit for this year is going to be approximately $1.6 trillion dollars. The Republicans were asking for just $61 billion in budget cuts (3.8% of the budget deficit) and there are rumors that Republican and Democratic negotiators have agreed to a figure of $38 billion in budget cuts.
Is this why the Tea Party was sent to Washington?
$38 billion would just be 2.4 percent of the $1.6 trillion dollar deficit.
Wow, that is really wielding the budget cutting axe!
Look, the U.S. government cannot spend a single penny from now on without Republicans going along with it.
The Republicans control the House of Representatives. Barack Obama and the Senate will not have a single dime to spend unless they can get the House to go along with it.
If the Democrats want money to implement Obamacare then they have to get the Republicans to go along with it.
If the Democrats want to give money to the EPA to implement Obama’s “green agenda” then they have to get the Republicans to go along with it.
In fact, pretty much whatever the Democrats want to do, they have to get the Republicans to agree to fund it.
So if you don’t like what Obama and the Democrats are doing, don’t just blame them.
Blame the Republicans as well.
Both parties are deeply corrupt and both parties have gotten us to the point we are at.
Sadly, it looks like any deal that the Republicans and the Democrats are going to agree to is going to include virtually everything that the Democrats want.
Mark Levin, “This is a historic scam; these are ponziites.”
Since Boehner said the republicans will never shut down the government, and since he has said repeatedly, “we are only half of one third of the government”, well then, what the hell are they going to do on the other issues? What is their strategy exactly? How are they going to combat the debt ceiling and fight for $6.2 Trillion dollars in cuts when he has already said, “we’re not going to shut down the government”, and “we are only half of one third of the federal government.” And by the way, Neil, they are 100% of the spending bills and tax authority under the Constitution. They can stop whatever they want to stop.
Cue the music. America, you are getting very sleepy…
This is NOT what the Tea Party was sent to Washington to do, and as stated before, this is going to end very badly for the people on the wrong side of history.
America KNOWS that we are watching the financial, societal, and moral collapse of our nation due to the mismanagement of ‘too numerous to name’ political insiders driven by greed and the agenda of globalists. When push comes to shove, the globalists are outnumbered, America is still armed, and downing espresso shots. Americans are soon going to choose to ‘opt out’. ‘Nuff said.
A Congressional Budget Office analysis of the fiscal 2011 spending deal that Congress will vote on Thursday concludes that it would cut spending this year by less than one-one hundredth of what both Republicans or Democrats have claimed.
A comparison prepared by the CBO shows that the omnibus spending bill, advertised as containing some $38.5 billion in cuts, will only reduce federal outlays by $352 million below 2010 spending rates. The nonpartisan budget agency also projects that total outlays are actually some $3.3 billion more than in 2010, if emergency spending is included in the total.
Guess how well that worked out for the CAIR representative who decided to take on a politically truthful American patriot who just happens to be smarter than the average liberal and has read his history. There shall be no fawning or apologizing.
I went to muslim countries to defend the freedom of the muslim people. Don’t you come up here and try to criticize me. – Rep. Allen West
When over 2 million people marched into the District of Criminals on 9.12.2009 to let Washington know that we were awake, paying attention, and keeping score, they weren’t listening. When the Obamacare townhalls became raucous, they whined about being called on the carpet and/or called us astroturf one day and domestic terrorists the next. When we melted the phone lines in Congress day after wretched day they kindasorta started paying attention. One would THINK that when we fired their asses with prejudice and sent them packing in November, 2010, the remaining criminals might actually have UNDERSTOOD how pissed we are.
The Senate voted Wednesday for the first time to repeal a piece of President Barack Obama’s health care overhaul, rolling back a new tax reporting requirement that’s been universally panned by business owners.
The amendment to repeal the 1099 reporting requirement passed 81-17 with broad bipartisan support.
ARE YOU FUCKIN’ KIDDING ME?
The 17 losers that decided to continue to hammer small businesses in, what can only be described as delusional hopes of raising $17 Billion dollars against a $14 TRILLION DOLLAR debt? WHERE exactly does that $17 Billion come from when small business stops paying taxes because they are not producing revenue, just tracking less revenue? And does the $17 Billion matter when we pay the Federal Reserve more than that each month in interest on the debt?
NOT striking down certain provisions. NOT meddling and tinkering with the cracked door of socialized medicine.
NOT HALF ASSED MEASURES!
IN IT’S ENTIRETY!
…still not paying attention. Makes one wonder exactly what it will take to get these asshats’ attention.
Republicans? Democrats? LIEBERMAN? Paying attention? DON’T YOU DARE PICK, CHOOSE OR PLAY POLITICS WITH THIS LAW. We don’t give a rat’s ass whether the crack smokin’ teenagers in the White House like the repeal movement or whether the sorry excuse for a walking, talking, breathing human being who happens to be the worst pResident in the history of the universe vetoes it or not. PASS THE REPEAL!
We told you that we would spend our very last freakin’ penny to get this country back on track and save our childrens’ futures.
WE ARE NOT LIKE YOU!
WE WERE NOT LYING!!!
Straighten up and fly right. We are watching you. Don’t you dare go along to get along.
For my readers’ amusement this morning, Nancy Pelosi statements that will make coffee spew out of your nose.
“We still would have lost the election because we had 9.5% unemployment. Let’s take it where that came from. The policies of George W. Bush and the Republican support for his initiatives, tax cuts are for the wealth, recklessness by some,” Minority Leader Pelosi told CNN.
Pelosi: It’s Bush’s Fault:
Pelosi: We “Were All About Market-Oriented Solutions”
And one of Nancy’s comments that will go down in history…
Pelosi: “We Have to Pass the Bill So That You Can Find Out What Is In It”
At mid-day Wednesday, it fell to now-former Speaker Nancy Pelosi to introduce her successor, John Boehner, as he was sworn in as Speaker of the House. Some might have forgotten, but four years ago, on January 4, 2007, it was Boehner (not the departing Dennis Hastert) who introduced Pelosi when she first became Speaker. A look at the two speeches — Pelosi introducing Boehner and Boehner introducing Pelosi — shows striking differences. Boehner’s 2007 speech, coming after Republicans were trounced at the polls in November 2006, was self-effacing, gracious, and non-partisan. Pelosi’s 2011 speech, coming after Democrats were trounced at the polls in November 2010, was self-serving, sharp, and partisan.
Start with Pelosi introducing Boehner. The outgoing Speaker began with some boilerplate about the importance of the occasion and then turned to a subject she has addressed many times in the past four years: herself. Her time as the first woman Speaker, Pelosi said, “means that more doors are wide open for all of America’s daughters and granddaughters.” Then Pelosi cast herself as the defender of America’s children in general, “their health, their education, the safety of the air they breathe, the water they drink, and the food they eat.”
Pelosi then launched into a list of Democratic legislation — college loans, financial regulation, and, especially, national health care (which she referred to as a “patient’s bill of rights.”) that was passed during her time as Speaker. That led to a recitation of Obamacare talking points. “It means children with pre-existing conditions can get coverage; young people can stay on their parents’ plans until age 26; pregnant women and breast and prostate cancer patients can no longer be thrown off the insurance rolls; our seniors are paying less for needed prescription drugs; [and] taken together, this will save the taxpayers $1.3 trillion,” Pelosi said.
She wasn’t finished. Pelosi touted the Lilly Ledbetter Act, veterans’ legislation, and ended on a commitment, not observed during her time in the Speaker’s chair, to evaluate every piece of legislation on the basis of whether or not it creates jobs. Only then did Pelosi offer a few kind words for Boehner.
Contrast that with Boehner’s speech introducing Pelosi on January 4, 2007. It was about 40 percent shorter and began with Boehner celebrating Pelosi’s achievement as first woman Speaker. “Today marks an occasion that I think the Founding Fathers would view approvingly,” he said. “And my fellow Americans, whether you are a Republican, a Democrat, or an Independent, today is a cause for celebration.”
Here is the 32 minute press conference where, (UNBELIEVABLY), your presidential public servant exits to attend the White House Christmas party and leaves, (what can only be assumed as the real president), Bill Clinton large and in charge to answer questions.
Yes, I do believe the world is now figuring out (without a shadow of doubt) what we have known since wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy before the presidential election of 2008; Barack Hussein Obama is a poseur. We FRAKKIN’ told you so!!!
“I’ve been keeping the first lady waiting for about a half an hour so I’m going to take off, but you are in good hands.” – Barry Soetoro, 11:00.
My question? While watching this, how many of you feel like you are sitting at a table in a restaurant and your server just handed you off to another waiter in order to take their break?
I wonder what ‘Iamadinnerjacket’ over in Iran thinks about two American ‘presidents’ cow-towing to a first lady over a party?
