Slaton police came to this woman’s house, who wishes to remain anonymous, to arrest her son. But by asking one simple question, she found herself behind bars instead.
“I told him, ‘I will release my son to you upon viewing those orders.’ Those were exactly my words,” The complainant said. “He said, ‘This is how you want to play?’ He took two steps back, turned around to the officer and said, ‘Take her.’ They turned me around, handcuffed me, and took me in.”
The complainant said she was aware police would be coming to apprehend her 11-year-old son based on a criminal complaint, and that she just wanted to see the warrant. As it turns out, that warrant didn’t exist. She spent the night in jail while her son was left at home.
“He told me it was their duty to come pick up my son,” She said. “Yet, I had someone stay the night at my house. They never came back that evening, they never came to pick up my son, or do what they told me they were there to do in the beginning.”

Do you remember a time when a child’s actions were their own and responsibility was assigned to the individual and not the parents? Do you also remember a time when as a child, one had to do something incredibly evil or dangerous to be held accountable before reaching a majority age?
I don’t exactly remember when that changed; some 20 years ago and it was vaguely reminiscent of Nazi practices when it started here in the United States. Now, it has become full blown with making parents behave as the TSA threatens and even manhandles their children at airports (and soon to be bus stations, train stations, schools, ChuckECheezes, etc.). On May 12th in the 19th Ward, Rochester, New York, a young woman is arrested for videotaping police during a traffic stop in front of her home. She was on her property and because she “chose” not to listen to police orders to go inside her house, she was arrested. American taxpayers are going to see a huge increase in property taxes and state taxes to pay off the legal settlements for the gestapo running around willy-nilly as more and more of this is going to be caught on tape. Who would have thought that in the land of the free and the home of the brave our new velvet dictatorship that something like a student loan would get your door kicked in, you handcuffed in your skivvies, dragged onto your front lawn at 6am and placed in a squad car for 6 hours while your 3 young children are terrorized and your home is searched by an armed SWAT team courtesy of your estranged wife’s student loan bill. Starting at 10 o’clock Friday, two senior non-commissioned officers from Fort Benning will be walking the streets of Downtown Columbus, also known as, “Uptown.” The soldiers will be wearing arm bands that read, “Courtesy Patrol.”
Fort Benning’s Commanding General Robert Brown, and Columbus Mayor Teresa Tomlinson made the announcement earlier this week.
The need to increase security in Uptown Columbus comes after two weekend incidents in early April.
In the first incident, police say five soldiers beat another man. The beating was witnessed near First Ave. and 10th street- sending the victim – a former solider – to the hospital with head injuries.
The other, a shooting that left four injured – one fatally – at Mario’s restaurant on Broadway. A man is charged in connection with the assault.
Now, Columbus Police will have the company of two uniformed Fort Benning soldiers on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
Mayor Tomlinson says the soldiers will not be able to make any arrests, but will be able to command order of all military personnel and if need be, alert military police.
GODDAMMIT PEOPLE!!!! After watching this tiny, six year old little girl get groped and then DRUG TESTED(?), does ANYONE want to argue with me about abolishing the Patriot Act?
