60 Minutes has done a thirteen minute report on the approaching day of reckoning for the states who are drowning in the deep end of the fiscal pool. According to Gov. Chris Christie, it’s not a income problem, it is a government employee benefit problem, and according to Meredith Whitney (highly respected Wall St. financial analyst) who has done research on the financial health of states and cities, this spring will see an influx of municipalities defaulting on their bonds because $160 Billion of federal stimulus cash will run out (just about the time the next round of residential and commercial mortgage resets occurs). She was calling out the big banks about the problems ahead for them long before they wanted to admit their liability, and those very same municipal bonds that will be defaulted on are owned, in the majority, by those very same big banks. Let’s all get ready for T.A.R.P. 2.0.

Well, now you can. Just head on down to Town Center Mall in Boca Raton, Florida, where America’s first gold dispensing ATM opened for business on Friday.
All you have to do is enter near the Neiman Marcus, hang a right toward the food court, and you will see the gold plated-vending machine near the candy store. Seriously.
The ATMs, designed by a German company called Ex Oriente Lux AG, are already operating in over 15 locations worldwide including Germany, Spain, Italy and Abu Dhabi.
The ATMs, which dispense gold coins and bars weighing up to eight ounces at prices updated every 10 minutes based on the real-time spot price of gold, churn out 20 to 100 gold pieces a day depending on traffic.

This article about the senate omnibus bill has been difficult to write as there are many little pieces to the puzzle, so a brief recap of the dems ‘enhanced negotiation tactics‘ is in order.
The democrat majority has not passed one single appropriations bill (there are 12 of them) this past year.
The dems have waited until four days before the government is set to shut down to drop a 1,924 page package omnibus bill on the senate that includes approximately 6,488 earmarks and funding for Obamacare and additional funds for the IRS. Yes, you can thank my POS senator for this new version of gang-rape.
This bill funds the government until next September, freezing out the new Republican House from making any spending cuts and bringing us many more steps closer to national bankruptcy.
This bill will fund the Financial Fascism law currently nicknamed the FrankenDodd Law that includes tracking of every single financial transaction in the country.
The appropriation is related to his support for the Native Hawaiian Government Reorganization Act – legislation nicknamed the “Akaka Bill” in honor of Hawaii’s U.S. Senator Daniel Akaka, which creates a native Hawaiian sovereign government within the state with its own powers relating to taxation, land ownership, regulation, law enforcement, and more.
Neil Cavuto interviewed Sen. Tom Coburn about this bill earlier today and Mr. Coburn made pertinent points.
If this bill passes, the GOP won’t be able go cut any spending because it funds everything through 2011.
Inability of the GOP to address the impending bankruptcy of the United States.
This bill does not give the American people any confidence that the feds might actually be listening.
What Sen. Coburn failed to mention is that this bill will fund Obamacare and also gives additional funds to the Internal Revenue Service.

Does it ever feel like we are being forced to swallow glass shards while walking across hot coals when it comes to the UTTER VINDICTIVENESS of our elected officials in the District of Criminals? This spending package must be passed this week or the feds will have to shut their doors on Saturday. Who in their right mind allows such a walk on the razor’s edge to occur? This fails to be a lack of planning; it is absolute lunacy and mean-spiritedness from politicians that are holding the American people hostage with their enhanced negotiation tactics in order to fund programs we don’t want, all the while running the clock out fighting over bleeding the American taxpayer even more on January 1st. (CNSNews.com) – Speaking at Monday’s signing ceremony for the “Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act”– a law that will subsidize and regulate what children eat before school, at lunch, after school, and during summer vacations in federally funded school-based feeding programs — First Lady Michelle Obama said of deciding what American children should eat: “We can’t just leave it up to the parents.”
The law for the first time gives the federal government the authority to regulate the food sold at local schools, including in vending machines.
“Everywhere I go, fortunately, I meet parents who are working very hard to make sure that their kids are healthy,” said Mrs. Obama. “They’re doing things like cutting down on desserts and trying to increase fruits and vegetables. They’re trying to teach their kids the kind of healthy habits that will stay with them for a lifetime.
“But when our kids spend so much of their time each day in school, and when many children get up to half their daily calories from school meals, it’s clear that we as a nation have a responsibility to meet as well,” Mrs. Obama said. “We can’t just leave it up to the parents. I think that parents have a right to expect that their efforts at home won’t be undone each day in the school cafeteria or in the vending machine in the hallway. I think that our parents have a right to expect that their kids will be served fresh, healthy food that meets high nutritional standards.”
Obama said that if the bill had not reached his desk for his signature, “I would be sleeping on the couch.”
So who exactly wears the pants in the ‘first’ family? I don’t have a problem with women being the leaders in their families, but Michelle WAS NOT ELECTED as pResident. Remember Obama and Clinton cowtowing to the ‘Jackie O’ wanna-be the other day at the press conference on taxes?
The law has been championed by the first lady as part of her campaign to end childhood obesity. Michelle Obama said that while it may seem ironic to be addressing childhood hunger and obesity at the same time, “it’s really just two sides of the same coin.”
What she is really saying is that y’all are just a bunch of stupid frakkin’ moos and that your children (future revenue streams), like your money, belong to the government who should have the last word in what happens to its assets.

35 year old, Long Beach resident, Doug Zerby was shot to death on Sunday evening by police when they received a 911 call from a neighbor who believed Zerby to be armed. Mr. Zerby was holding a water nozzle and appears to have been watering his friend’s lawn while waiting for the friend to return home. The Long Beach police department considered Zerby’s hand movements to be provocative and opened fire without issuing any orders to Mr. Zerby.
