For over three years, I have watched this excuse for a ‘manufactured cultural icon’ and ‘first lady’ parade around like a leader and role model for women. I have made every effort not to slam a sister but I can’t hold my tongue any longer. I absolutely, positively, and categorically detest Michelle Obama as an ugly, mean spirited, arrogant, entitled, lazy wench. Every time I have to look at her face, I am ashamed of my gender and everything women have fought for over the centuries. No wonder the rest of humanity thinks women are untrustworthy, petty, bitches.
First Lady Michelle Obama said of deciding what American children should eat: “We can’t just leave it up to the parents.”
(CNSNews.com) – Speaking at Monday’s signing ceremony for the “Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act”– a law that will subsidize and regulate what children eat before school, at lunch, after school, and during summer vacations in federally funded school-based feeding programs — First Lady Michelle Obama said of deciding what American children should eat: “We can’t just leave it up to the parents.”
The law for the first time gives the federal government the authority to regulate the food sold at local schools, including in vending machines.
“Everywhere I go, fortunately, I meet parents who are working very hard to make sure that their kids are healthy,” said Mrs. Obama. “They’re doing things like cutting down on desserts and trying to increase fruits and vegetables. They’re trying to teach their kids the kind of healthy habits that will stay with them for a lifetime.
“But when our kids spend so much of their time each day in school, and when many children get up to half their daily calories from school meals, it’s clear that we as a nation have a responsibility to meet as well,” Mrs. Obama said. “We can’t just leave it up to the parents. I think that parents have a right to expect that their efforts at home won’t be undone each day in the school cafeteria or in the vending machine in the hallway. I think that our parents have a right to expect that their kids will be served fresh, healthy food that meets high nutritional standards.”
Obama said that if the bill had not reached his desk for his signature, “I would be sleeping on the couch.”
So who exactly wears the pants in the ‘first’ family? I don’t have a problem with women being the leaders in their families, but Michelle WAS NOT ELECTED as pResident. Remember Obama and Clinton cowtowing to the ‘Jackie O’ wanna-be the other day at the press conference on taxes?
The law has been championed by the first lady as part of her campaign to end childhood obesity. Michelle Obama said that while it may seem ironic to be addressing childhood hunger and obesity at the same time, “it’s really just two sides of the same coin.”
What she is really saying is that y’all are just a bunch of stupid frakkin’ moos and that your children (future revenue streams), like your money, belong to the government who should have the last word in what happens to its assets.
I read this bill to be about them making a law for the schools workers not to feed or make available junk food in the school cafeteria. Is this not so? I don’t want my kid subjected to junk food in the school cafeteria getting all crazy off a sugar high.
I get it, I understand…but is this not the parents’ and school districts’ responsibility? Not the federal government? Not Michelle Obama telling you what your children can eat in their school?
Is it any wonder that more parents are homeschooling and THOSE children are in great demand by universities because they are smarter, calmer, more well read, and more mature?

This Child Nutrition crapola came straight out of the United Nations, WHO, if you will, as did the “obesity” campaign that is to prep the multitudes for their coming starvation since the government will be rationing our food supply, as did Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Mao Tse-tung, Pol Pot, Mugabe and many other dictators of the world.
The North American general public is not obese. People come in all shapes and sizes which gives us our identity, our individuality–which, of course, is exactly what a Marxist government does not want.

OK, I left a comment on “States Fast Approaching Financial Abyss”, followed your guidelines using the “Choose File” button and attached WTF Cat from my desktop file. How to embed it, is the question. If I need some fancy application besides the browser, then kitty and I will just have to continue keeping our visits private!
I must respectfully disagree about the same as usual feigned, effete look on BOZO’s stupid face: he ALWAYS looks like that in public…except when he can’t control the nasty, petulant scowl that overrides his carefully arranged nose in the air look. Even if the premise sounds good, e.g., ‘feed our kids healthy stuff,’ we canNOT allow government to make that decision for us. It is up to US to do that for ourselves and our children. They will either get it on their own or not. I know a great many people who, having been raised on junk food by ignorant parents, have gone on to healthy eating and lifestyle, rejecting burgers and grease food for good nutrition. That is our right: to make our own personal choices. Government has no place in that…that was decided with the 21st Amendment, repealing the government’s attempt to prevent people from drinking alcohol. Do some people abuse it and make themselves sick? of course. But that is their choice. Many others do not. It is up to each of us to make healthy choices…or not, and pay the price.
