John Boehner and Michael Steele on election night. The first four minutes of this video is Megyn Kelly interviewing Michael Steel. Mr. Boehner’s speech starts at 4:50 with the usual ‘change’ rhetoric but it does have a memorable line concerning Barry’s agenda:
The peoples’ priorities will be our priorities, and the peoples’ agenda will be our agenda…While our new majority will server as your voice in the peoples’ house, we must remember it is the president who sets the agenda for our government. The American people have sent an unmistakable message to him tonight, and that message is:Change Course.
John Boehner had a good speech, if he is sincere and if he really means what he says. The repubs need to do what they say they are going to do. They need to realize that Americans are never again going to vote them in and then forget about them. They need to know that they are going to have to uphold the constitution. If they don’t they are out. That goes for the dems to. Too bad the repubs didn’t take the senate. But the house is good. We got rid of a lot of bad dems in PA.
