Yes, that’s right….the Beverly Hills Tea Party. There might actually be some hope for California yet. Wait until you hear his descriptions of Billy Ayers and JFK.
You have to ask yourself, how did we elect; how did America elect as its president, a man with no visible record except for facts that stare you in the face, and demand you to reject him? – David Horowitz speaking of Barack Obama.
I haven’t yet met a person who doesn’t love Daniel Hannan, his attitude toward our Constitution and form of government, and who doesn’t wish he was an American (or draftable) so that we could tap his enthusiasm and common sense in the District of Criminals.
Mr. Hannan has a new book out, The New Road To Serfdom, A Letter Of Warning To America in which he lays out the history of the socialist movement of America starting with the New Deal stretching to Obama’s fiscal folly of the $872 stimulus flush.
“On every question of construction carry ourselves back to the time when the Constitution was adopted, recollect the spirit manifested in the debates and instead of trying what meaning may be squeezed out of the text or invented against it, conform to the probable one in which it was passed.” –Thomas Jefferson, letter to William Johnson, 1823
Glenn covers the amount of control the federal government now has over our lives ranging from the indoctrination that American children receive in the public school system that has only been controlled by the DOE since 1979, to the Energy Department’s nudging of green issues, to Cass Sunstein’s belief that the Constitution is irrelevant because it cannot keep up with the times (Cass, ya asshat, please see the quote above).
BUT Glenn starts the show by discounting ImADinnerJacket’s comments to the UN about the federal government being behind 9.11. I absolutely hate it when he does that because there is just too much evidence from scientists, 9.11 first responders, architects, and demolition experts (worldwide) that shows something other than 19 islamic jihadists brought those three WTC buildings down all by themselves. (But I digress…)
If the President has the power to order American citizens killed with no due process, and to do so in such complete secrecy that no courts can even review his decisions, then what doesn’t he have the power to do? – Glenn Greenwald, Salon.com
You know there is a massive problem with this administration when one of their minions prints this:
At this point, I didn’t believe it was possible, but the Obama administration has just reached an all-new low in its abysmal civil liberties record. In response to the lawsuit filed by Anwar Awlaki’s father asking a court to enjoin the President from assassinating his son, a U.S. citizen, without any due process, the administration late last night, according to The Washington Post, filed a brief asking the court to dismiss the lawsuit without hearing the merits of the claims. That’s not surprising: both the Bush and Obama administrations have repeatedly insisted that their secret conduct is legal but nonetheless urge courts not to even rule on its legality. But what’s most notable here is that one of the arguments the Obama DOJ raises to demand dismissal of this lawsuit is “state secrets”: in other words, not only does the President have the right to sentence Americans to death with no due process or charges of any kind, but his decisions as to who will be killed and why he wants them dead are “state secrets,” and thus no court may adjudicate their legality.
A reader sent me an article this morning which I thought would be a useful piece for my readers to incorporate into the puzzle. It was written by Jeff Nyquist of the Strategic Crisis Center which is a non-profit that he founded to help educate Americans on national security issues; mainly Russia and China. As you watch the video, keep in the mind that Russia and China recently reached an agreement to trade each others currencies without converting to the US dollar as the middle man. I ask my readers to watch the video and read the article in their entirety.
According to some experts the U.S. economy is one “event” away from a catastrophic sequence. My own variation on this sequence goes something like this: first, the dollar collapses; second, the government’s response prevents any chance for recovery; third, political unrest and destabilization begins; last, the defensive function of the state fails as external and internal enemies take advantage of the country’s weakness. This sequence would likely be nonsense if it were only mysequence. Unfortunately, it is a sequence dreamt up by Soviet strategists as far back as the 1960s. It was the entire basis of the Soviet strategic blueprint of half a century ago. The writings of at least two Soviet Bloc defectors suggest that this same blueprint dictated the controlled “collapse” of Communism in Eastern Europe from 1989-91. This would differ from the uncontrolled collapse of capitalism that Soviet strategists also anticipated.
Alex Jones of InfoWars.com and PrisonPlanet.com is planning a moneybomb on Thursday, October 14th to expand his operations to bring a ‘truly independent media platform’ to the next level. He is planning a 24 hour broadcast with live guests and archived exclusive interviews with some of the top researchers in the world covering the globalists and the New World Order. Alex reports that the moneybomb has already netted $20K without advertising. The actual site shows $32K as of this writing.
It appears that Chris Dodd’s financial industry overhaul bill missed an important fascist piece of the puzzle, international electronic money transfers. Somehow the Office of Financial Research that will have a database to track every single financial transaction in the country wasn’t given the power to track international wire transfers. Chairman Zero is rectifying this error with a new bill requiring U.S. banks to report all such transfers according to the Washington Post.
The Obama administration wants to require U.S. banks to report all electronic money transfers into and out of the country, a dramatic expansion in efforts to counter terrorist financing and money laundering.
Officials say the information would help them spot the sort of transfers that helped finance the al-Qaeda hijackers who carried out the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. They say the expanded financial data would allow anti-terrorist agencies to better understand normal money-flow patterns so they can spot abnormal activity.
Remember moos, you are guilty before proven innocent.
“By establishing a centralized database, this regulatory plan will greatly assist law enforcement in detecting and ferreting out transnational organized crime, multinational drug cartels, terrorist financing and international tax evasion,” said James H. Freis Jr., director of Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN).
But critics have called it part of a disturbing trend by government security agencies in the wake of the 2001 attacks to seek more access to personal data without adequately demonstrating its utility. Financial institutions say that they already feel burdened by anti-terrorism rules requiring them to provide data, and that they object to new ones.
As for money laundering, what about this? Don’t be fooled, this bill is about the average American, and what we are capable of when our country starts to go blatantly globalist.
