The American Dollar Edges Closer To Losing Reserve Status

What happens when the largest economies in the world stop using the dollar as an intermediary currency and start trading with a basket of currencies or with each other directly?  Get ready; it appears to be approaching fast according to Bloomberg.  If you thought September 2008 was a rough ride, you have not seen anything yet.  Hey, has anybody called Obama on the links and asked him if he knows what The Federal Reserve Mafia is doing about this?

Yuan Trading Against Russian Ruble Said to Start Within Weeks in Shanghai

China and Russia plan to start trading in each other’s currencies as the world’s second-biggest energy consumer and the largest energy supplier seek to diminish the dollar’s role in global trade.

China may start trading its currency against the ruble within weeks, three bankers with knowledge of the matter told Bloomberg, and sent out a document last week allowing lenders to apply for ruble trading licenses, one of them said. Russia’s Micex Stock Exchange is making preparations to trade the ruble against the yuan in an initiative that has the backing of the country’s central bank, Ruben Aganbegyan, the head of the bourse, told reporters at a conference in Moscow today.

“Given the risk to the dollar and U.S. assets from their fiscal position they want to reduce their dependence on the dollar as an invoicing currency,” Bhanu Baweja, global head of emerging markets fixed income, currency and credit research at UBS AG, said in a phone interview from London. “It makes sense for two large economies to exclude a third, overly dominant economy from their trading equation.”

In the wake of the global financial crisis, which forced the U.S. economy into recession, both China and Russia have called for the dollar’s role in the financial system to be diluted. Volatility in major currencies is putting the global recovery at risk Zhang Ping, the head of China’s National Development and Reform Commission, said last month. President Dmitry Medvedev last year suggested Russia, holder of the world’s third-largest foreign-currency reserves, reduce its holdings of dollar.

“Gradually the dollar is being eliminated from the foreign-trade settlement flows,” said Dariusz Kowalczyk, a Hong-Kong based senior economist at Credit Agricole CIB. “People are beginning to trade Asian currencies without intermediation via the dollar.”

Bloomberg also has a video of how the Chinese Yuan is starting to trend move with other currencies as opposed to the dollar.

Sept. 9 (Bloomberg) — Robert Sinche, chief strategist at Lily Pond Capital Management LLC, talks about China’s policy on the yuan. Sinche, speaking with Carol Massar on Bloomberg Television’s “In the Loop With Betty Liu,” also discusses the potential that the Bank of Japan may attempt to devalue the yen and the outlook for the U.S. dollar. I guess the by-product of the Tea Party Patriots getting off their couches is now everybody can feel good about being a Constitutionalist, speaking their minds, and having a media outlet that isn’t spinning itself silly trying to keep the moos corralled.

Then again, I may find out that another globalist is funding this project.

Obama’s $50 Billion Stimulus Will Create An Infrastructure Bank

Obama wants to spend another $50 Billion of our sweat, but this time with a twist, (and no mention of what the Federal Reserve Mafia thinks of this idea).

From ABCnews.com

Another Bank? President Obama Pushing National Infrastructure Bank

White House Wants Government-Run Bank to Handle $50 Billion Transportation Rebuilding Plan

If the plan is approved by Congress, the projects would be financed by a government-run bank, known as an Infrastructure Bank. According to the White House, the Infrastructure Bank would “leverage federal dollars and focus on investments of national and regional significance that often fall through the cracks in the current siloed (sic)

Of course, Chris Dodd thinks this is the cat’s meow:

Said Senate Banking Committee chairman Chris Dodd, “A significant investment in our ailing national infrastructure will create jobs, boost long-term economic growth, and improve safety. With a National Infrastructure Bank we could leverage state, local, and private funds to ensure our infrastructure systems are equipped to meet the demands of the 21st century.” (emphasis mine)

And progressive globalist think-tank; Brookings Institute weighed in:

William Galston, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, praised the administration’s proposal, saying that it “offers a welcome new direction in an increasingly shrill and decreasingly productive economic debate. It shifts the focus toward the kinds of public action that can help build a more efficient and competitive economy in the long run.”

What I find eerily similar is the Iraq Central Bank’s beginnings:

History of the CBI

When Iraq was part of the Ottoman Empire, a number of European currencies circulated alongside the Turkish pound. With the establishment of the British mandate after World War I, Iraq was incorporated into the Indian monetary system, which was operated by the British, and the rupee became the principal currency in circulation, at a rate of 1 dinar = 13⅓ rupees.

1930 – 1950

In 1931, the Iraq Currency Board was established in London for note issue and maintenance of reserves for the new Iraqi dinar. The currency board pursued a conservative monetary policy, maintaining very high reserves behind the dinar. The dinar was further strengthened by its link to the British pound, which was pegged at par with the British pound until 1959.

In 1947 the government-owned National Bank of Iraq was founded, and in 1949 the London-based currency board was abolished as the new bank assumed responsibility for the issuing of notes and the maintenance of reserves. The National Bank of Iraq continued the currency board’s conservative monetary policy, maintaining 100 percent reserves behind outstanding domestic currency.

Initiated during the last years of Ottoman rule, commercial banking became a significant factor in foreign trade during the British mandate. British banks predominated, but traditional money dealers continued to extend some domestic credit and to offer limited banking services. The expansion of banking services was hampered by the limited use of money, the small size of the economy, and the small amount of savings; banks provided services for foreign trade almost exclusively. In the mid-1930s, the Iraqi government decided to establish banks in order to make credit available to other sectors of the economy. In 1936, the government formed the Agricultural and Industrial Bank. In 1940, this bank was divided into the Agricultural Bank and the Industrial Bank, each with substantially increased capital provided by the government. The government established the Rafidayn Bank in 1941 as both the primary commercial bank and the central bank, but the National Bank of Iraq became the government’s banker in 1947. The Real Estate Bank was established in 1948, primarily to finance the purchase of houses by individuals. The Mortgage Bank was established in 1951, and the Cooperative Bank in 1956. In addition to these government-owned institutions, branches of foreign banks and private Iraqi banks were opened as the economy expanded.

Spooked enough yet?

Sarah Endorses Christine O’Donnell Against RINO Mike Castle

Click For Christine's Campaign Site

Sarah Palin has endorsed Tea Party favorite, Christine O’Donnell in her primary bid against RINO Mike Castle for Joe Biden’s old senate seat.  This should put her over the top.

Palin Backs O’Donnell in Delaware

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) announced Thursday she has endorsed Tea Party favorite Christine O’Donnell against Rep. Mike Castle (R) in Delaware’s Republican Senate primary.

Palin slipped the announcement in during a short interview Thursday afternoon with conservative radio host Sean Hannity.

Hannity tweeted the news shortly afterward.

“Thanks @SarahPalinUSA for the last minute call in. Endorsement of Christine O’Donnell was an exclusive. Said she hadn’t told Christine yet,” he said.

O’Donnell confirmed the news a few minutes later.

“Just got Gov. Palin’s endorsement!” she tweeted. “Thank you for your prayers!”

Glenn Beck, Crash Course Week: Controlling The Message (9.9.2010)

Judge Napolitano’s opening statements include how the progessives have been controlling the message through the corporate owned media, how the Obama administration came out swinging against Rush Limbaugh and Fox News, and that he believes this “government hates and fears free speech and wants to shut it down”.

Glenn’s clips start with how Obama mimics Woodrow Wilson’s policies about too much information in the public marketplace, and trends into Wilson’s Espionage and Sedition Acts. Glenn also shows how he has been accused of sedition, and how Cass Sunstein thinks that conspiracy theorists are seditious. That would be millions of us, now wouldn’t it?

Koran Burning Cancelled; Ground Zero Mosque To Be Moved (UPDATED #2)

Koran Burning Cancelled; Ground Zero Mosque To Be Moved (UPDATED #2)

I originally thought Pastor Jones had completely gone off his nut by announcing his intent to burn Korans on 9.11, (which by the way, falls under the category of “just plain wrong”), but he has been promised by Imam Rauf that the Ground Zero Mosque will be moved.

From NYTimes:

But details of the pastor’s planned meeting with the Imam, Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, remained elusive. Mr. Jones did say he got a promise to move the New York mosque, although such an agreement could not be independently confirmed.

Meanwhile, progressive globalist Colin Powell thinks the mosque is a GREAT IDEA and the firestorm has only gone viral because of the “media industrial complex”.  Yes, Pam Geller, Atlas Shrugs, Stop The Islamization of America, her bus ads and the hundreds of blogging ‘first responders’ had absolutely nothing to do with it.  Yes, the moos who actually email each other and talk to each other had NOTHING to do with it.  I really hate these ______________ (insert your own word here).

UPDATE: FBI agents visit Florida church over Quran burn

UPDATE #2, 9.10.2010: Everybody appears to be taking their prescribed amounts of ‘stupid pills’.

From Drudge Report:

Thousands of Afghans protest Quran-burning plan...
Tennessee preacher to burn Quran...
Topeka, Kansas church vows burning...
Protester plans to burn on Wyoming's Capitol steps...
FLASHBACK: Muslims Burn Bibles and Destroy Crosses...
TICKING: Pastor issues two-hour deadline for imam to move Ground Zero mosque...

I fail to grasp how sinking to the level of the radical islamic jihadists and betraying one’s principles by burning another faith’s sacred text is going to help anyone or honor the victims of 9.11.  How are any of these actions following Jesus’ main tenet of “do unto others as you wish to have done to you”?

Stupid is as stupid does.

Keep at it MOOs; the globalists have their lackeys popping the corks of champagne bottles and are enjoying the show as you fight amongst yourselves and continue to ignore the web they are spinning.

Hele Mai!

North Carolina; Privacy Is An Illusion

North Carolina; Privacy Is An Illusion

Okay MOOS, listen up.  Sheriffs in North Carolina (that supposedly work FOR YOU) have approached the NC legislature and requested warrant-less access to state prescription drug lists of patients who are prescribed controlled substances by their doctors.  They want to be able  to sift through and find drug abusers in order “to curb a growing problem of prescription drug abuse.

I know I should be shocked by this new fascist idea, but I’m not.   I almost did not write about this because it has become the norm in our world; actual privacy has become an illusion.

Sheriffs want lists of patients using painkillers

Judge Napolitano gave an interview with Shep Smith on Studio B a few minutes ago where he stated that the NC sheriffs are trying to fundamentally change the privacy clause in the Constitution, change the physician/patient relationship,  and he wonders how this could be happening considering the sheriffs work for us.  Do they?  The rabbit hole I have been down points to something altogether different than “We The People”.

When that vid becomes available, I will post it.

The Noose Hiding In Plain Sight: The United Nations #1

The Noose Hiding In Plain Sight: The United Nations #1

(Editor’s Note:  As with all the information presented in the ‘Noose’ series of articles, please keep an open mind, read the material and corresponding links, do the homework and stop being JUST A MOO producing a revenue stream for the powers that be.  Be skeptical; I am.  Ask the hard questions.  Now more Americans are awake than ever; join us and help us find the ‘real truth’ that has been hidden for centuries.  The more people turning over rocks, the faster the truth is going to be known.)

Over the course of the last two months traveling through the labyrinth, I have found it incredibly hard to find a starting point for this series of articles.  In desperation, I finally decided to start writing about current events and how discovered research applied to today’s news.  Take, for example, the run on Kabul Bank, and the corresponding actions by Afghanistan Central Bank and our Treasury which leads back to the UN, IMF, The Fed, etc.  We all know who the players are, what we haven’t been able to prove exactly the combination of who, what, where, when, and how when it comes to wars, national bankruptcies, treaties, government as corporations, and politicians as corporate entities because A) we have been blanketed with thousands of pages in hopes of demoralizing us, and B) much of the documentation is hidden from the public.  We know this.  To give you some idea of the scope, I spent the morning reading the Paris Peace Treaty of 1783, Bush 41’s EO 12803, and Clinton’s EO 13037 after I had come up empty-handed looking for monetary information on the U.S. Treasury setting up the Afghanistan Central Bank.  I know our treasury spent our money on yet another central bank, but find out how much of the billions we have poured into Afghanistan went to establish the bank and anything other than 2002 as a date?  Nada.  What about Iraq’s central bank which came into existence in 1956 and was nationalized in 1964?  Did it change when our government toppled Saddam’s regime?  Does it look like The Federal Reserve?  What do you think?

Central Bank of Iraq Law Fact Sheet:

Financial Services Tribunal

The CBI law establishes a Financial Services Tribunal empowered to review decisions and orders of the CBI including actions taken by a conservator or receiver under the Banking Law. The Tribunal is not authorized to review CBI decisions or actions concerning monetary policy and exchange rate policy. The Tribunal will comprise panels of judges appointed by the Minister of Justice. Articles 63-70

What about this?

Prior Law
The prior law governing the Central Bank of Iraq was the Central Bank of Iraq Law No. 64 of 1976. The prior law is repealed by the new law. Article 73 In July the Coalition Provisional Authority issued CPA Order No. 18, “Measures to Ensure the Independence of the Central Bank of Iraq.” This order suspended the authority of the CBI to lend to Iraqi Government Ministries and gave the CBI authority to determine and implement monetary and credit policy without the approval of the Ministry of Finance.

Who then would be giving the Central Bank of Iraq their marching orders considering the state the country is still in?

Does this look familiar?

The bank is in charge of:

  • Maintaining price stability
  • Implementing monetary policy (including exchange rate policies)
  • Managing foreign reserves
  • Issuing and managing the currency
  • Regulating the banking sector for promoting a competitive and stable financial system

I am currently contemplating turning my living room wall into a whiteboard to keep track of all the different parties and agendas in play.  What I have been able to ascertain is that the United Nations appears to be ‘the face’ and the hub from which all the different coalitions and policies are being sent forth; equivalent to the biggest airport terminal in the world.  I would dearly love to know exactly who owns the airport; ‘The International Banksters’ isn’t specific enough for me.  I want names; all their names.

Please take five minutes to watch this video and I guarantee you will be as skeptical as I still am, but more questions than answers still remain.  Why does our government vote against its constituents?  Why does the FBI consider ‘American Sovereigns’ to be domestic terrorists? Why have the police been para-militarized, and over-react on a daily basis?  Why have doctors stopped curing conditions and only treat symptomology?  Why has Monsanto been allowed to run wild in Iraq and Afghanistan?  Why did WE spend $582 Million to build an Embassy complex in Iraq? Why has the Federal Reserve been allowed to prosper when they have done nothing except the opposite of their supposed mission to ensure economic stability?  Why does any nation follow any proposal the United Nations puts forward when nothing but wars and genocide have happened under their ‘peaceful’ watch?

EXCLUSIVE: After a Year of Setbacks, U.N. Looks to Take Charge of World’s Agenda

By George Russell

After a year of humiliating setbacks, United Nations Secretary General Ban ki-Moon and about 60 of his top lieutenants — the top brass of the entire U.N. system — spent their Labor Day weekend at a remote Austrian Alpine retreat, discussing ways to put their sprawling organization in charge of the world’s agenda.
