PHOENIX – Governor Jan Brewer said she was stunned and angered to learn during an Ecuadorean television interview with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton that the Obama Administration had decided to sue Arizona over its recently passed anti-illegal immigration law, SB1070. Secretary Clinton announced during the interview on June 8th that President Obama has directed the U.S. Justice Department to “bring a lawsuit against the Arizona law.” “This is no way to treat the people of Arizona,” said Governor Brewer. “To learn of this lawsuit through an Ecuadorean interview with the Secretary of State is just outrageous. If our own government intends to sue our state to prevent illegal immigration enforcement, the least it can do is inform us before it informs the citizens of another nation.” Governor Brewer said, “I just visited with the President in the Oval Office about our differences over immigration policy, and the one firm understanding we had was that within two weeks he would provide details of his commitment to deploy National Guard troops to the border. While I am grateful that communications have taken place about a possible visit by Administration staff before the end of the month, there is not yet a confirmed date. More importantly, no information about additional troop and border security enhancements has been provided by the Obama Administration to the citizens of Arizona.”
Governor Brewer recently announced the creation of a legal defense fund for private contributions in defense of Arizona’s illegal immigration enforcement measures – www.keepazsafe.com. Over $22,000 in contributions have been made to the border legal defense fund since its announcement yesterday evening. Over $26,000 had previously been sent unsolicited to the Governor for legal defense of Arizona, for an approximate total of $48,000 in the fund. ###

If this does not show , to anyone paying attention, that this country is now fighting it’s 2nd Civil War, than I do not know what will. This Civil War is not about geography but rather about ideology . This is most certainly a us versus them with the us being the so called leadership and we are the them.
How darn Hillary or anyone else in this so called Gov. make such an announcement during a foreign interview. Do they think there will be no backlash at home. People are awake and no longer accept it is Bush’s fault, he most certainly had faults but everything this administration does can not grandfather in Bush.

the response once seems a little late. How many more of these illegals have to enter our borders before something gets done. In stead of focusing on cap and trade, bail outs, Healthcare, and this should have been a top priorty!

i read an article yesterday that portland, oregon passed a resolution to shun arizona…not their exact wording; however, that is how juvenile it seems. portland is also going to support flagstaff (liberal bastion in northern arizona) and tucson (large illegal population) in their suits against their own state government!
the other news on the net (though not new to arizona citizens) is the “loss of use” by citizens of approx 3500 acres in southern arizona due to the danger of drug traffickers and armed illegals/cartels. the sheriffs in that area state they are out-manned and out-gunned, so there is no way to safely clear that area and return it for safe use by the citizens.
sheriff joe was great at the rallys we had the past three weekends…..he shared that he has no intention of turning those that break our new law over to ice…at least not until they serve their time in his tent city. his attitude regarding his project, expanding his tent city, was quite jovial…lol

Obama is not going to stop the flood of illegal Mexicans, Somalis, Muslims, Haitians, or any other illegal. If you have read the 45 Tenants of Communism ( amended to 47) you should have a clear idea about Obama’s game plan for America. Once all the Mexicans, and other non American scumbags are given citizenship the Communist Party of the USA will control more then 50% of the voting base insuring that the march to a Communist America continues. Unfortunately we seem to bitch a lot about the Communist governments ever increasing control of our lives, but we do nothing else. Jan Brewer is going to get steam rolled by our Communist President just like the rest of us. Amnesty for scumbags, Cap and Tax are all coming soon and once Obama gets a few more commies on the supreme court, freedom of speech, and gun ownership will soon be ground under the heel of the Communist Dictator Obama. Elections and words will not stop the Obama regime’s agenda, only we the people can stop it if we have the guts!
