If you lived in a state that was paying $150 million a year in corrections costs for illegal aliens, (besides the crime, kidnappings, murders, everything else Arizonans are paying extra for), wouldn’t you want a governor like Jan Brewer hammering the sockpuppet-in-charge for his inability to take our security seriously?
Maybe Gov. Jan Brewer knows something we don’t know, considering she really is taking the game right to Barry’s court.
We are a nation of laws, and the rule of law, not of men. Our purpose today is to help the rest of the nation understand the crisis which confronts our state. Our nation’s government is broken. Our border is being erased. And the president apparently considers it a wonderful opportunity to divide people along racial lines, for his personal, political, convenience. It’s fair to ask whether he intends to be the Commander-In-Chief or the Comic-In-Chief? (applause)

There’s a pretty big difference between Palin and Brewer. Palin’s first act as Governor was to sign a law allowing benefits for domestic partners. Brewer has just repealed it in AZ:
“A bill signed by Gov. Jan Brewer redefined a “dependent” to mean a “spouse under the laws of this state, a child who is under 19 years of age or is under 23 years of age and a full-time student.”
That excludes domestic partners, full-time students ages 23 and 24, and disabled adult children of employees who previously qualified for benefits.
The law cancels a rule change made by former Gov. Janet Napolitano that allowed domestic partners to receive benefits.”

I went to securetheborder.org and signed the petition. The only problem I have with the site is that Palin has her mug on it. I don’t trust her, as she is supported by the GOP which is one half of the corrupt political system in America.
Also, on a side note, there is a video of Newt Gingrich on LM; he is as evil as they come, a member of the CFR who is trying to take over and control the Tea Party movement; BEWARE of Newt, he is NOT our friend.

I don’t know who QL is, but I have never been talked to like that before. Hopefully, it won’t happen again.
I think a lot of us are suffering from Obama/Pelosi fatigue. It would be nice to get through one day without having to hear another stupid word out of their mouths.
The frustration from all of this is making it hard to play nice everyday so I think we should all take a step back and not let the jerks get to us.

I have not yet written Palin off. I will watch her actions.Sooner or later it will be revealed what her real intentions are. Right now, I have to admit….. I don’t know if she is a sell out or has a different strategy that we don’t know about. Could she just be building a broader base for the future?

on one show someone thought brewer’s comment did not show proper respect for the office of the president…..i hate to tell the commentator, but there is nothing presidential about the current occupant. he has shown nothing but disrespect for the office AND the American citizens, so he deserves what he gets.
i guess i am one of the few that is not willing to throw palin under the bus. i know she is supporting mccain….however, i truly respect that she does what she believes is right and does not pander to opinions. i believe she is courageous and honorable to stand beside a friend when so many are against him. that said, i still am not going to vote for him!!!

As so many of you who are disappointed with what Palin has become moving with the wind, perhaps we can extract one good thing; she is speaking up about the OO Marxist and exposing his ideologies. If we didn’t have people like Beck etc. putting themselves out there, just how uninformed do you think America would be? So many of us who actually realized Obama is a Marxist before the election, could we get anyone to listen? Personally, they thought I was nuts. You guys are on a different level than the average person who is inundated with keeping afloat. They only have time for sound bites. Palin is a light weight, but I do believe her heart is in the right place. She’s put herself out there (yes, she’s capitalized on it) but, aren’t we better off than no one exposing this mackdaddy for what he is? She’s controlled by the machine, yet her endorsement of Bachmann etc. does lead her following to some good candidates.
So yes, Palin needs an anchor, but for those Americans who are approaching “politics” as usual…she does offer a limited counterbalance. As D.T. has so aptly stated, inroads…..we need all of them.
