Whatever you may think of the John Birch Society, founder Robert Welch explains (36 years ago quoting from a 52 year old speech) what is happening right now in our country. It appears that Mr. Welch has an incredible grasp of the problems in our country back then and the course that America was headed for because of progressivism. Is it because he was born in 1899 and lived through the changes happening right before his eyes?

I seriously wonder what some people have against the John Birch Society.
I don’t know either and just have not had the time to look into the JBS and the truth and/or possible smearing of this organization. I’ll add it to the list.
This is a classic example of not seeing the forest for the trees, I only wonder if the internet had been around at that time if we would be in the situation we find ourselves now. Truth comes from many different sources, just because you do not agree with a particular view does not mean that they are not right on some issues.
Well, I joined the JBS last year. I have found NOTHING bad about them. They try to teach about what has/is happening. They produce magazines, books, DVDs, etc. They are very conservative and religious. They have been maligned by the illuminati.
That is good to know, I will check more into them, always heard them referred to as fringe, but now that I am considered fringe I guess I should give them a second look.
is it possible that what we were taught in school was given a negative spin, as if the truth were taught we would have known what was occurring in our nation decades ago…..and done something about it before it got this bad….
did anyone else notice the name of the newspaper that ran the article/editorial……berkley daily gazette……
WHATEVER ELSE – CALL HIM GRAVELY MISTAKEN!
FBI FILES ON BIRCH SOCIETY:

Anybody can be made to appear insightful and prescient if one consciously excludes ALL contradictory evidence.
1. So, for example, suppose you find 100 statements made by Welch
2. Suppose, further, than 26 of those statements are entirely or mostly accurate — but 73 are entirely or mostly inaccurate.
3. By selecting and highlighting ONLY the 26 entirely or mostly accurate statements, you can create the (false) impression that a person is brilliant!
See FBI report above for details about the scope of Welch/JBS errors.
Wow, Ernie. Got a little cross to bear? Seems like you’ve spent an inordinate amount of time compiling information to smear the John Birch Society. Makes me wonder what you’re so afraid of…
I think I may have to check them out.
“Ernie” is really William Norman Grigg, a former journalist and senior editor for The New American magazine, affiliated with the John Birch Society. Mr. Grigg is of Hispanic background and was fired by the magazine a number of years ago due to his pro-illegal immigration views, and seeking a higher position in the organization he thought he had earned. He has since, under various pen names, made it his primary goal to try and smear the organization he worked for at every turn. To his credit, he has excellent writing skills, but pay close attention to what he writes, and be aware of why he writes them. He’s a very digruntled ex-employee!
oh yeah thats such a great idea ernie,Im going to take the fbi’s word for anything when I have video of the man talking nothing but good sense crawl back in your hole obot
If he made that speech at that time why did people not listen to him then? We wouldn’t have needed to be in the mess we are in today. But of course they were ridiculed and people tend to listen to and believe the negative aspects. Propaganda.
