Senators napping, munching on lobster
Mid-way through a full evening of voting on amendments to the Senate’s healthcare reconciliation bill, Democratic senators are fueling up by munching on lobster rolls in the Democratic cloakroom — a delivery from Legal Seafood in honor of the late Sen. Edward Kennedy.
Jim Manley, a spokesman for Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and a former top Kennedy aide, said he did not know who was responsible for the delivery but that it was done as a tribute to Kennedy. The late senator died in August from brain cancer, and had championed healthcare reform as “the cause of my life.”
Senators were sometimes napping when off the floor, but Manley said most are ducking out to their hideaway offices near the Senate floor instead of using cots in the cloakroom.
Manley said the Senate will continue until at least 1 a.m., at which point senators will reassess how many more hours to continue.

GOP Lawmaker Darrell Issa Poised to Call for Special Prosecutor to Investigate White House
Rep. Darrell Issa, the top Republican on the House Oversight committee, told CBS News Wednesday that he will call for a special prosecutor to investigate the White House if it does not address Rep. Joe Sestak’s claim that he was offered a federal job in exchange for dropping out of the Pennsylvania Senate primary.
“If the public doesn’t receive a satisfactory answer, the next step would be to call for a special prosecutor, which is well within the statute,” Issa (pictured) told Hotsheet.
The California Republican has been pushing for the White House to provide details of conversations between Sestak and administration officials in the wake of Sestak’s comment during a radio interview last month that he was offered a high-ranking administration job in exchange for dropping his primary challenge against Sen. Arlen Specter.
Asked if that job was secretary of the Navy, Sestak declined to comment. His press secretary told CBS News that the lawmaker stands by his original statement that he was offered the job in exchange for an administration post. Sestak did not drop out of the race.
On March 10th, Issa sent a letter to White House lawyer Robert Bauer asking for details about communications between Sestak and the White House. In the letter, he pointed to statutes he said could have been violated if Sestak was offered a quid pro quo arrangement in which he would be given an administration job in exchange for leaving the race.

BREAKING: Steny Hoyer, “Members Of Congress Receiving Death Threats” (UPDATED VIDEO)
Shep Smith of FoxNews has just announced that during a briefing, Steny Hoyer stated that members of congress who voted for Obamacare are receiving death threats. The twitterworld is abuzz, and I am looking for video/audio of this breaking news.

FBI investigating severed gas line at Rep. Tom Perriello’s brother home
After Tea Party activists posted the supposed address of Rep. Tom Perriello’s (D-VA) home, a gas line was cut at his brother’s property. The activists posted the wrong address in Virginia on the internet.
The FBI and local authorities are investigating the incident. Threats and acts of violence have escalated after President Barack Obama signed the Health Care Reform bill into law. Some Tea Party Activists have been calling for acts of violence against members of Congress and the Democratic headquarters throughout the states.
In a phone interview Jessica Barba, spokesperson for Perriello said the Capitol Police have been informed of the incident.
“We have had no direct threats,” said Barba. “Tom is in Washington at this time and he has been informed of the situation. We will have an official statement later.”
Ladies and Gentlemen: START RECALL DRIVES IN YOUR STATES TO GET THEM OUT OF OFFICE BEFORE NOVEMBER.
Knock, Knock; The IRS Is Here!
Considering the amount of anti-American and un-Constitutional aspects of Obamacare, it is NOT surprising that the enforcement of health care control through the KGB of America ( the IRS) was sorta, kinda, totally, lost in the mix. Now the totalitarian tactics of Obamacare via the IRS are front and center. If this does not give you chills, I don’t know what will.

The Doctor Exodus Begins: Dr. Elizabeth Lee Vliet
Doctors begin resigning over ObamaCare
Dr. Elizabeth Lee Vliet is a widely-respected doctor from Tucson, Arizona who is a nationally-recognized speaker on women’s health. She has published numerous books on female hormone changes and is the founder and medical director of a successful practice called Her Place.
She is now set to resign over ObamaCare.
In an interview Wednesday on Fox News, she primarily cited the fact that this takeover tramples the doctor-patient relationship, compromising her ability to follow the Hippocratic Oath. But she also notes that the excessive regulatory burdens and crushing costs imposed on doctors will make it completely unfeasible for many of them to stay in business.

Fact #1:
If you increase the demand for a product without increasing the supply, there will be a shortage. Let me say that a different way: if you increase the number of people buying a product without increasing the number of products (suppliers) there will be a shortage. There is no way around this.
Application:
If you insure 15 million more people without adding any doctors, there will be a shortage. Say what you will, promise what you may, all the kings horses and all the kings men will never be able to put 15 million more humpty dumptys together again, UNLESS you increase the number of doctors!! Nothing in the current legislation offers such an incentive or allowance–if anything, quite the opposite. Time and again the question has been asked and each time the response is “everyone will be covered,” as if that answers the question.
Bottom line:
Shortages WILL occur until there are more doctors, more nurses, more hospitals, more clinics. Promises of “universal coverage” cannot overcome the reality of “universal shortages”. One might accurately argue we will have equal opportunity shortages. That statement would be true. Nevertheless, there will be shortages and the sellers KNOW IT!
