Newt Gingrich: 2+2=4

Considering the prediction made by Legal Insurrection that if the House passes the Senate health care bill, Bambi will just sign that into law, Newt’s observations may not be critical, but they are still relevant.

Oh that’s right, the republicans are lying just trying to scare us…

I looked it up; it’s in there.

H.R. 3962

Page 26:

(2) INSUFFICIENT FUNDS.—If the Secretary estimates for any fiscal year that the aggregate amounts available for payment of expenses of the high-risk pool will be less than the amount of the expenses, the Secretary shall make such adjustments as are necessary to eliminate such deficit, including reducing benefits, increasing premiums, or establishing waiting lists.

  1. newt is right when he says, anyone that does not see the gov’t take over of health care in this bill, has not read the bill.

whenever i am in a “discussion” re this bill (or the other hc bills) with someone, i always ask them if they actually read the bill. some say yes and some say no. those that say yes, i further inquire as to how they missed this phrase or that phrase. most end the conversation at that point, as they know the democrat talking points will not work with me.

(those that say they have not read the bill…..i give them some specific pages/references to check out for themselves)

    • and of course there is always the fall back argument they try to use……there is no bill yet!

  2. I don’t trust any of them either. We need to be very, very careful who we support when they say they are running for public office.(Is Newt planning on running for pres?) We need to get an all new congress and find some people we can trust. A couple already there can be trusted, but only a couple.

  3. I’m sorry to disagree with you, Nancy, but at this stage of the game I don’t trust ANY of them. Except perhaps, Michele Bachmann.

For the most part if they aren’t crooked when they go to Washington, they are crooked within six months. Some don’t take that long to turn.
