(Go here, if you would like to take the Nolan Chart quiz to find out exactly what political persuasion you are. The site is very busy right now, so just keep trying if you can’t get in.)
Glenn Beck gave a quiz today to help individual Americans understand which political persuasion they are. The categories are: Liberal, Libertarian, Conservative, and Progressive. You may be surprised to find out what you actually believe.
I’ve taken a similar test before and it said I was slightly liberal, slightly libertarian. I can’t get into that test link yet but if I can, I’ll let you know what it says.
Hey Ron – try this link.

Shock of all shocks – I’m a libertarian. LOL I was only registered as a libertarian for over a decade.
Here’s how I scored:
I’ll let you know when I can get on also.
I took this test a while back my yellow star is at the bottom of the Libertarian section in the middle next to Centrist. I always described myself as an Independent that leans Libertarian, turns out I was right. Nolan Chart is on facebook to you can join.
Glenn Beck’s mention of the nolan chart appears to have made the site crash.

Interesting, I was a Libertarian on the Nolan chart but a Centrist on Advocate, do not know what to think of that. I always thought I was Conservative.
I scored smack dab in the middle of the Centrist square. Surprise, Surprise. All my life I thought I was a Conservative Democrat until this past election cycle when I became an Independent.
I’m in good company with Elliot Richardson, though, I’ve always admired him ever since he stumped Tricky Dick over the firing of Archibald Cox as a Special Investigator. High principles, that man has. Not too happy about being lumped in with John McCain, although I voted for him I don’t see eye to eye with him on very many issues.
I guess I’d better get the book the article suggests and find out about myself. “independent Nation” by Avlon. I’m always open to learning – whether it’s about myself or someone else. More rather than less knowledge is always a good thing. We need to keep our smarts up.
well, as i suspected, i am a “radical libertarian”……i had to take the test on a different site, as the site beck linked to was too busy. the site i used adds adjectives (such as radical) based on where you fall in each section……
i then took the test on another site (there is a slight difference in the wording of the questions/answers between the sites). i scored even higher in the libertarian section……
