UPDATE: 11.21.09 3:24 pm. – I’m not watching this circus until later because I KNEW that they would have enough votes to obtain cloture and shove this through to the floor. Politico is reporting that Landreiu and Lincoln are now on board (frakkin’ surprise that) and that they have 60 votes. I’m not wasting my time on this right now, but I will tell you that this morning I read on RedState that the American public has completely crashed the entire senate phone system – not just the switchboard. Good Going Guys!!!
**************
On Saturday, 11.21.09, the Senate will be convening one of those not so rare weekend sessions to try and shove through healthcare reform on a test vote. Please be advised that this vote is to decide whether or not to bring this bill to the floor for debate, but if the required 60 votes are obtained, this mutant will hit the floor and become even worse than it is now.
For live streaming coverage, go here for C-Span coverage starting at 9:45am Eastern, and click on Senate Debate on C-SPAN2 at 9:45am ET. When C-Span has the actual link hot, I will update this post.
Senate Health Care Debate Continues, Cloture Vote Tonight
The Senate continues debate on health care reform legislation. Tonight at 8pm a cloture vote will take place on the motion to proceed on the bill. Sixty votes are needed and if cloture passes, debate on the bill will occur after the Thanksgiving recess.

ON come on now
Did anyone in their right mind, ever expect that the Democrat controlled House and or Senate WHOR#@s would do the right thing.
THESE HO’s would sell their kids, wife, mother, grandmother and neighbors to the devil for 30 pieces of silver.
they and their Dictator leader are the enemy within, and every single one of them must be thrown out of office and then prosecuted and put away for life.
Put every senator, congressman on notice daily that we will be relentless in the pursuit of having them thrown out of office and prosecuted.
shut down their communication systems, snail mail boxes, faxes, and phone lines until this travesty is over.
Every single one who votes for this cruel hoax and scam. The deliberate destruction of the USA.
They are the enemy within.
Letty- I just read over at RedState that the Senate switchboard system has completely collapsed.
I have been faxing all day and will continue but I don’t expect any good will come of it. I wrote a new special letter to Landieu and now Lincoln.
I’ve been listening to Continental Congress 2009 all day, also. I think they are our only hope at this point.
Not sure if this matters but CNN is conducting a poll about the Senate health care bill. It is about half way down the page on the right side. As of 8:30 PM Sunday the results where 54 to 46 in favor of the bill.
If you want to mess with CNN go over and vote, I am sure it will not mean anything other than you know you voted.
