New Gallup Poll: Americans Now Think Healthcare IS NOT Government’s Role

A new Gallup poll out today shows the continuing trend of Americans speaking out against healthcare being the government’s job.  I know this administration and congress are ignoring us, but at least we can keep telling our family, friends and neighbors.  It will make a difference at some point.
More in U.S. Say Health Coverage Is Not Gov’t. Responsibility

PRINCETON, NJ — More Americans now say it is not the federal government’s responsibility to make sure all Americans have healthcare coverage (50%) than say it is (47%). This is a first since Gallup began tracking this question, and a significant shift from as recently as three years ago, when two-thirds said ensuring healthcare coverage was the government’s responsibility.

Do You Think It Is the Responsibility of the Federal Government to Make Sure All Americans Have Healthcare Coverage, or Is That Not the Responsibility of the Federal Government?

Gallup has asked this question each November since 2001 as part of the Gallup Poll Social Series, and most recently in its Nov. 5-8 Health and Healthcare survey. There have been some fluctuations from year to year, but this year marks the first time in the history of this trend that less than half of Americans say ensuring healthcare coverage for all is the federal government’s responsibility.

The reason behind this shift is unknown. Certainly the federal government’s role in the nation’s healthcare system has been widely and vigorously debated over the last several months, including much focus on the “public option.” These data suggest that one result of the debate has been a net decrease in Americans’ agreement that ensuring all Americans have healthcare coverage is an appropriate role for the federal government.

The reason is unknown; how about 10.2% unemployment, a universal healthcare plan that costs over $1 Trillion, and a congress set to raise the debt ceiling to over $12 Trillion?

Could the reason behind Americans being against the government providing universal healthcare be because of this or this?

Sarah Palin’s Reaction To The 9/11 Terrorist Trials In NYC

Sarah Palin posted these comments on her facebook page earlier today; echoing Rudy Guiliani and Sen. Lieberman and MILLIONS of Americans that realize the dangers of giving these terrorists constitutional rights afforded American Citizens. They could very likely be acquitted and released….which is looking more and more like what the Obama administration and this democratically controlled congress wants.

Obama Administration’s Atrocious Decision

Horrible decision, absolutely horrible. It is devastating for so many of us to hear that the Obama Administration decided that the 9/11 terrorist mastermind, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, will be given a criminal trial in New York. This is an atrocious decision.

Mohammed and his terrorist co-conspirators are responsible for the deaths of more than 3,000 Americans. Thousands of American families have suffered through the loss of loved ones because of the disgusting attacks launched against the United States, and now this trial venue adds insult to injury, in addition to compromising our efforts in the War on Terror. Heaven forbid our allies see this decision as a reason to become less likely to support our efforts in the future.

Criminal defense attorneys will now enter into delaying tactics and other methods in the hope of securing some kind of win for their “clients.” The trial will afford Mohammed the opportunity to grandstand and make use of his time in front of the world media to rally his disgusting terrorist cohorts. It will also be an insult to the victims of 9/11, as Mohammed will no doubt use the opportunity to spew his hateful rhetoric in the same neighborhood in which he ruthlessly cut down the lives of so many Americans.

It is crucially important that Americans be made aware that the mastermind of the 9/11 attacks may walk away from this trial without receiving just punishment because of a “hung jury” or from any variety of court room technicalities. If we are stuck with this terrible Obama Administration decision, I, like most Americans, hope that Mohammed and his co-conspirators are convicted. Hang ‘em high.

I wholeheartedly support the survivors and the families of the victims in their appeal to the president regarding this matter. You can read more about it here.

Right is right and wrong is wrong.

Foreign Islamic Jihadist Terrorists are NOT AMERICAN CITIZENS and do not deserve rights afforded by prosecution in an American civilian court.  It is just plain common sense.

IMPEACHMENT

Are We THERE Yet?

Rudy Guiliani’s Take On the 9/11 Terrorist Trials Moving To NYC

Just one more reason to believe that Obama and his administration are pantywaists that do not want to offend radical muslim jihadists anybody BUT Americans by bestowing American citizens’ rights on foreign terrorist war criminals by moving their trials to a NYC civilian court.  Anybody still think this administration is upholding their oaths to the Constitution and NOT trying to undermine the safety and freedom of this nation?  Any congressman or senator ready to bring impeachment charges yet? Obama’s cowardly weakness is going to get more Americans killed.

Rudy has it right:

Harry, You Ain’t All That

Harry Reid has a new campaign ad out touting him as “America’s Most Powerful Senator”.  I beg to differ considering how much Harry has to chase after the two republican senators from Maine, Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins, to get any of his anti-capitalist legislation passed in the Senate because he can’t keep his own democrats in line.  I wonder if Nancy is giving him pointers on arm-twisting and chicago style politics?

Harry, you ain’t all that.  Nevada?  Are you tired of this third of the Axis of Marxism, (Obama, Pelosi, Reid), threatening our freedom and pocketbooks?
