When the people fear their government, there is tyranny;
when the government fears the people, there is liberty.

Eric is stepping in for Glenn who is still recovering from appendicitis. Interviewees include Anne Coulter, Frank Luntz, Byron York and David Buckner. I will add the appropriate segments as they become available.
Jihadist Terrorism is as plain as the nose on your face! I am sick of people saying they are something else before they are an American.

Do you think that the Ft. Hood shooter will be used as a reason to disarm the American people?
Americans are genuinely afraid. Yes, they are. The average man or woman on the street is scared to death of what might come tomorrow. In the midst of large unemployment, rising prices and taxes, every time they tune in to the news they are faced with another government encroachment on their lives. Even the ones who still have their jobs don’t know if they’ll have them tomorrow. And even if they do, the added cost of living caused by the government’s policies makes them fear that their income will not be adequate to cover daily expensess, let alone put anything away for an emergency.
Now with the Health Care Reform bill being passed in the House we have another thing to be frightened about. I don’t think it will pass the Senate (at least in its present form) but even if it doesn’t, Obama has many other schemes up his sleeve. Cap and Trade, Financial Reform? If it is the type of reform we have seen in other fields what kind of reform is that?
And Fannie and Freddie say they are not asking for any additional money YET. That YET is a big laugh. It means not at this time but soon.
And we’re afrain of the Islamic Jihad’s that we see coming our way as long as the government continues to believe that PC is the answer to everything. I’m scared, myself, but I’m not going to shut up and silently take what is being dished out. As long as I can speak I’ll speak my mind and right now I think that this administration is hell-bent on driving our country into the groud.
Glenn Beck coming back today? Good !! I’m anxious to hear what he has to say about the President’s reaction to the Ft. Hood disaster. If the was any doubt in my mind that Obama is a muslim, his reaction to this horror is proof in the pudding.
Now all you mob members I want you to be careful not to jump to conclusions here and blame a religious fanatic for something that is due to post traumatic stress. With his government-paid education the good dr. is suffering great stress due to his counseling of troops who really had the guts to fight for their country.
Yes, I’m afraid, aren’t you?
Speaking of boycotting Fox News…this happened coincidentally shortly after Imus joined FBN. Everyone remembers how MSNBC -CBS and WFAN and their advertisers were threatened with a boycott. Hmmm they couldn’t make a boycott of Glenn Beck work so they threatened a whole Cable News Channel with boycott.
The first day Imus broadcast he raised FBN’s morning slot rating by 1500%

Well here ya go.

Jack – you may be right, but I personally think a toddler falling down could be used by the left as a reason to ban guns – or your toilet getting plugged, or a bad “b” movie.
Jack – there is something else going on here. I wish I could actually see my way clear to actually write something – but it’s a jumble right now.
Well, I could also see it as stoking the fire of war. I mean if the people’s desire for the war in the Middle East is waning then what better way to get everyone all fired up again than have a Jihadist blow away some of our people on one of our own military bases on our own soil?
Personally, when I first heard about it I was like “well there’s a good distraction from the health care bill”. I mean you never want to let a good crisis go to waste.
