The Media’s Message About Palin

I have been watching and reading what the MSM have been saying about Sarah since her resignation on 7.3.09 and the message that their masters have given them to spew forth over and over again in a new mantra of attack is this; Palin has no experience, an almost transparent resume, she is leaving the only job that would give her experience, and therefore, her message cannot possible be correct because it is not based on anything.

Here is just one example of the numerous I have read over the last few days,  and the blinding omission of the obvious; Barack Obama has even less experience.   This snake oil salesman and frontman for the shadow chess players was a “community organizer” and served only 143 days in the Illinois Senate before starting his alexandrian campaign for the White House.

I found this story over at CQ Politics and it was written by David Corn about Time Magazine.

Time Goes Gaga for Palin

In a classic example of newsmagazine overthink, Time profiles Sarah Palin with a cover story that practically celebrates her thin résumé and essentially makes the case that know-nothingism could be good for America. Seriously:

“Palin’s unconventional step speaks to an ingrained frontier skepticism of authority — even one’s own. Given the plunging credibility of institutions and élites, that’s a mood that fits the Palin brand. Résumés ain’t what they used to be; they count only with people who trust credentials — a dwindling breed. The mathematics Ph.D.s who dreamed up economy-killing derivatives have pretty impressive résumés. The leaders of congressional committees and executive agencies have decades of experience — at wallowing in red ink, mismanaging economic bubbles and botching covert intelligence.”

If ever there has been a time to gamble on a flimsy résumé, ever a time for the ultimate outsider, this might be it. “We have so little trust in the character of the people we elected that most of us wouldn’t invite them into our homes for dinner, let alone leave our children alone in their care,” writes talk-show host Glenn Beck in his book Glenn Beck’s Common Sense, a pox-on-all-their-houses fusillade at Washington. Dashed off in a fever of disillusionment with those in power, Beck’s book is selling like vampire lit, with more than 1 million copies in print.

Citing Glenn Beck as proof that many Americans are eager to turn to a pol with little expertise in national policy? But didn’t the country just have an election? And didn’t a significant majority vote for the guy with two Ivy League degrees who talked about bringing professionalism, science, and expertise back to policymaking in Washington? (Anyone remember Palin’s climate change denialism? Not the Time people.)

Didn’t 69 Million incredibly gullible people buy the MSM marketing of a candidate that has no experience and even more questionable judgement?  It is no wonder we are in this mess when Americans are voting with their emotions instead of their cranial faculties.

You may or may not like Sarah or agree with her; that’s not the point of this post.  The point is to watch what the Media is stating about her and see the reverse marketing approach that they are making in hopes of slowing down her message by discrediting her personally and professionally.

I personally am glad that with all that is happening in the beltway, we at least have one adult speaking the truth above the heads of the crack-smokin’ congress and the hormonally challenged teenagers in the White House.

Rep. Jason Chaffetz: “Scam Wow”

…or “the government should get the hell OUT OF THE WAY!”

$600 BILLION in interest payments to the Fed this year? WTF?  WHEN CAN WE ABOLISH THE FED AND CENTRAL BANKING SYSTEMS FOREVER?

Rep. Jason Chaffetz at 5:00 is not only talking about giving our money back to us, but in very plain terms is telling his colleagues that all that money they are spending is OUR MONEY – not the congress’ money!

I suggest we go further than that; repeal the $717 Billion of stimulus money that has not been spent yet and then give every single legal adult American $1 Million to stimulate housing sales, investment, college educations, small business starts…etc.  Imagine the tax revenues to states from that kind of influx of cash going to Americans instead of the Banks who just either held onto the money or bought each other to consolidate their power.

American innovation drives our economy…

Have You Attempted This Death Defying Feat?

Have You Attempted This Death Defying Feat?

statueoflibertycrying…I must be completely out of my mind!

Have you: read in it’s entirety,  H.R. 2454: American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009 or the appropriations bill for the State Department, (this is going to be a doozy – just like HR2918), or the Federal Reserve financial regulation reform white pages simultaneously?  There are probably more of us regular Americans reading these pages than our elected non-representatives.

Anyway, the point of this post is that for the next few days, God willing lil Kim doesn’t actually drop a nuke on me or Bambi and the freaks in the beltway don’t completely tank the economy,  I will be posting “fluffy” stuff because I am currently doing my homework in preparation for two radio programs with The Dame Truth next Monday and Tuesday.  I will be posting more information about those two shows later in the week, including the “rock star” guest on Monday who is going to knock your socks off.  You will definitely want to call in….sorry, got carried away there.

For those of you who have just woken from your slumber and stumbled on this research roundtable, there are links at the bottom of this post to indepth information that will really open your eyes.  Take a look around and educate yourselves about who and what has brought America to it’s knees.

In the meantime, get ready to shut down the switchboard and email system at the Senate on 7.13.09 with opposition to the “Bankrupt Every American and Destroy Every American Company” bill called Cap & Trade.  If you think I am joking about that title, just take a look at the stock market and then tell me if Americans  have confidence that the current dog and pony, (or rather donkey and elephant), show isn’t going to tax, regulate and confiscate American Free Enterprise and the American way of life brought forth by our Founding Fathers and the Constitution into extinction?

Sarah Palin To Andrea Mitchell: “You Aren’t Listening…”

I loved it when Sarah said to Andrea Mitchell, “You Aren’t Listening!”.

Did you know that another ethics complaint was filed against Gov. Palin yesterday by a man who filed one previously that was thrown out?

Un-fricken-believable!  (ENOUGH ALREADY)

Laura D’Andrea Tyson And The Second Stimulus Package (Updated)

Just days after Joe Biden and Austin Goolsbee have stated that ‘discussing a second stimulus package would be premature’, Laura D’Andrea Tyson thinks that the $787 Billion wasn’t big enough.  The CBO is reporting that only $19 Billion has been spent through April and the NY Times is reporting that the federal government has paid out less than 6 percent of the money.

From Bloomberg:

Obama Adviser Says U.S. Should Mull Second Stimulus (Update2)

July 7 (Bloomberg) — The U.S. should consider drafting a second stimulus package focusing on infrastructure projects because the $787 billion approved in February was “a bit too small,” said Laura Tyson, an outside adviser to President Barack Obama.

The current plan “will have a positive effect, but the real economy is a sicker patient,” Tyson said in a speech in Singapore today. The package will have a more pronounced impact in the third and fourth quarters, she added, stressing that she was speaking for herself and not the administration.

Tyson’s comments contrast with remarks made two days ago by Vice President Joe Biden and fellow Obama adviser Austan Goolsbee, who said it was premature to discuss crafting another stimulus because the current measures have yet to fully take effect. The government is facing criticism that the first package was rolled out too slowly and failed to stop unemployment from soaring to the highest in almost 26 years.

Who is Laura D’Andrea Tyson?  I know Monster readers want to know.

From Wiki:

Laura D’Andrea Tyson is an American economist and former Chair of the US President’s Council of Economic Advisers during the Clinton Administration. She also served as Director of the National Economic Council. She is currently a professor at the Haas School of Business of the University of California, Berkeley, as well as an economic adviser to President Barack Obama.[1] She is considered a contender for a key economic policy position in the Obama Administration.[1]

From 2002 to 2006, Tyson was the first female Dean of London Business School. From 1998 to 2001, she was Dean of the Haas School of Business. She served in the Clinton Administration as Chairman of the President’s Council of Economic Advisers from 1993 to 1995 and Director of the National Economic Council from 1995 to 1996. Tyson has been a member of the Council on Foreign Relations since 1987, a Director of Morgan Stanley since 1997, a Director of AT&T Inc. since 1999 and a Director of Eastman Kodak.

Does that not make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that this well educated and well connected human wants to take more of your money?

Make sure to take a moment and go here and peruse the names and associations.

This person is the poster child for the NY and international banksters and the globalists and she thinks we need a second stimulus package.

Can we fire congress, abolish the Fed and impeach Obama yet?

If Steny Hoyer is your non-representative, what are you going to do about it?

U.S. must be open to second economic stimulus: Hoyer

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. leaders should be open to the possibility of a second stimulus package to jolt the economy out of a recession still causing job losses, House of Representatives Majority Leader Steny Hoyer said on Tuesday.

A Tale Of Two Americas

A Tale Of Two Americas

Marie Antoinette

For many of you, the similarities between the events that led up to the French Revolution and what is currently happening on a daily basis in our country has not been lost.  The veil that has separated the Two Americas is becoming more transparent even though our current administration is becoming more opaque and working hard to make everyone believe that Mr. & Mrs. O are just like us.

As the decimated middle class and working poor are losing their battle against foreclosure, not being able to feed their children, and worrying themselves to death, the Beltway Aristocrats and their New York Bank Buddies gorge themselves on our money reminiscent of some french aristocrats.

Here is a tale of two Americas that you may not hear about in all the chatter about how stupid Sarah is, how great Cap & Trade and Government Medicine is going to be for us, and how much Barney Frank is really concerned about homeowners in foreclosure.  If Barney had two gray cells speaking to each other, he would not be considering loosening the lending protocols for condos and therefore creating another housing bubble later.

When unemployment hits 30% in the inner cities, we patriots that have been trying to avert a disaster will only be able to step aside and keep our families safe.  If you really believe that unemployment is currently at 9.5%, I have a bridge I can sell you as the indexing for unemployment was changed a few years back.

And now, a Tale Of Two Americas:

Much Needed Tax Refunds Delayed From Georgia to California

ATLANTA (AP) – Colin Daymude was out of work last year after his business failed and eagerly filed his taxes in mid-January, figuring he’d get his refund sooner. He was wrong. It took the 44-year-old entrepreneur more than six months to get his $1,300 check—money that he needed to pay living expenses while he worked a few side gigs.

Tax day—April 15—has long since come and gone, but sharp budget cuts and falling revenues have forced many states to delay income tax returns for months—and left taxpayers longing for their money.

“I’m just trying to get my money back,” said a frustrated Daymude. “It’s my money anyways.”

Some states say plummeting tax collections drove them to hold on to the money so they can make ends meet. Others complain of not being able to keep up because the economic downturn has forced staffing cuts in revenue departments.

But critics worry governments are withholding funds that rightly belong to taxpayers when they need the extra cash the most. And some of the tardy states are fast approaching a stiff deadline of their own: The longer they wait, the more likely they’ll have to pony up interest from thinning state coffers.

That prospect could soon become a reality in Georgia and Alabama, where tax officials are racing to beat a mid-July deadline to send hundreds of thousands of tax refunds or risk racking up millions of dollars in interest.

“I know some of the taxpayers are wondering if the state is going to pay the refund,” said Carla Snellgrove of the Department of Revenue in Alabama, where more than 120,000 taxpayers are waiting for at least $63 million in income tax refunds.

That is the America we live in, where we are unemployed, not able to sleep at night, and wondering what is going to happen next while our Congress and White House work feverishly long into the night to either spend our great, great, great, great grand-children’s money or collapse our dollar completely.

Here is the America that we ALLOW Washington DC to live in:

White House Won’t Reveal How Much Michelle Obama’s European Vacation Cost Taxpayers

(CNSNews.com) – America may be in the midst of a deep recession, and the nation may be facing unprecedented deficit spending and debt, but the White House will not reveal the cost to taxpayers of the European vacation that first lady Michelle Obama and the president’s two daughters, Malia and Sasha, took last month.

Travel by an American first lady typically includes the military passenger jet that carries her and the children, Secret Service personnel to provide security, and a separate cargo plane to haul official vehicles.

First Lady Michelle Obama’s tour of Paris with her children included a convoy of 20 vehicles, according to news reports. She also moved by “motorcade” through London.

The full cost of such a trip would also include the expense of meals and lodging for Secret Service agents and possibly other staff.

In response to inquiries from CNSNews.com last week about the cost to taxpayers of the first lady’s European vacation, the White House did not provide a figure.

“Like previous administrations, the first lady will follow all the rules and regulations that are related to reimbursement for personal travel,” Michelle Obama’s press secretary Katie McCormick Lelyveld told CNSNews.com in a written response.

Combined, the first lady’s air travel cost would have been $44,843.28, under the White House estimate or $163,560.50, under the Air Force estimate, but these estimates are for fiscal year 1998 dollars.

Adjusted for inflation to 2009 dollars, the cost to taxpayers of the Washington-to-Paris-to-London-to-Washington air travel would have ranged from $58,834.02 to $214,591.38, according to the inflation estimates by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

NBC News reported on June 10 that the first lady’s trip to London was supposed to be a “secret,” but the conspicuous movement of her motorcade made her presence in town known.

“It was supposed to be a secret trip, but the motorcade gave it away. First lady Michelle Obama, daughters Sasha and Malia, and their grandmother made a whirlwind trip to London minus dad, who flew home on Sunday.”

Here is the Obamanation’s promise of transparency for all to see.  I am wondering what it is going to take for America to completely and totally wake up to the path we have been led down for the last 120 years?

The articles you have just read are THE REASON for every single patriotic American to stop and consider converging on Washington D.C. on 9.12.09 to shut this government down for just one day.  If 5-10 MILLION people gather it might be difficult to move around the city or actually get anything done, and 5-10 MILLION Pissed Off Americans are somewhat hard to ignore even for the MSM!

My sincere hope would be to just send all their behinds packing, but I do realize baby steps are required.

Think hard fellow patriots.  This is a unique time only witnessed a few times in history and it is our curse to be living in interesting times….

The Backstory Of Senate Dems Blocking HR1207

A completely corrupt double standard in the Senate. Imagine that?  If it wasn’t for HR2918 benefiting both sides of the aisle in a most luxurious manner,  I might be more ecstatic about Sen. DeMint’s speech.  As it is, I thank Sen. DeMint for pointing out just how much the Dems like to bend rules and ask that he vote against HR2918.

From an email I received today from Campaign For Liberty:

Earlier today, the first shot in our battle to pass Audit the Fed through the U.S. Senate was fired on the Senate floor by Senator Jim DeMint of South Carolina.

Senator DeMint, who has a well-deserved reputation for taking the battle to the other side in the Senate, once again proved why he is such a valuable ally in our fight to bring transparency and accountability to the Federal Reserve.

A little while ago, the Senate voted to pass HR 2918, the Legislative Branch Appropriations Act. This $3 billion bill contains, among many other things, provisions for GAO audits on certain agencies.

Seizing on a chance to take quick action to bring Audit the Fed up for a vote, and with the GAO provisions in mind, Senator DeMint attached the full text of S 604, the Senate version of Ron Paul’s Audit the Fed bill, to HR 2918 as Senate Amendment 1367 before it was considered for final passage.

However, Senate Democrats refused to even allow a vote on the amendment!   That’s right.  The internationalist, Fed-loving elite in the Senate used a parliamentary tactic to shut down DeMint’s amendment.

After Senator DeMint brought Audit the Fed to the floor, Senator Ben Nelson of Nebraska raised a “point of order” to prevent a vote, claiming that the amendment violated Senate Rule 16 by “legislating” on an appropriations bill. The Senate president agreed, and the amendment was shot down.

Senator DeMint did not back down, though, and directly challenged Senate leadership by pointing out the other GAO audits contained in the bill. As Senator DeMint listed them off, the Senate president was forced to agree with Senator DeMint that each one he described, all of which would be left in for final passage, also violated Senate Rule 16.

Which tells us at least one thing: the problem wasn’t with “legislating” on the bill or violating Senate Rules (which is commonly done).  Shooting down the amendment was about preventing a thorough audit of the Federal Reserve for the first time in its history!

Senate leadership is hoping this issue will just fade away so they can get on to what they deem to be more “important” business, like dictating what kind of healthcare plan you and I can carry or passing destructive Cap-and-Tax legislation.

But the American people deserve answers on what the Fed has done with trillions of our tax dollars and what they are committing us and future generations to as part of their secret deals with foreign central banks and governments.

The leadership decided today to turn their backs on transparency, but our fight is just beginning.

As Senator DeMint made clear on the floor, the Audit the Fed bill has wide bipartisan support.  He rightly warned the Senate that even if they delay today, they WILL have to deal with the issue on the floor.

It is up to you and me to back up Senator DeMint’s words by making sure the momentum continues to build and the bill comes up for a final vote.

The rejection of the Audit amendment is just the first battle in our war. Now is the time to really put the pressure on the U.S. Senate to Audit the Fed!

Senator DeMint fired the opening salvo and showcased the hypocrisy of the Senate for allowing other GAO audits to be included in the bill while refusing to even allow a vote on Fed transparency.

Again, we’re just getting started. Senator DeMint will keep fighting to pass Audit the Fed on its own or as an amendment, and we need to continue putting pressure on our senators to do everything in their power to achieve a floor vote!

Click here to sign our online petition.  And visit our Audit the Fed action page for contact information to call, write, and fax your senators and urge them to support S 604 and to push for a final vote.

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!

“Everybody misread the economy….”

Sorry Joe, the Monster and millions of American Patriots did not misread the economy; we screamed NO TARP, NO BAILOUTS, NO STIMULUS and what did we get? Rising unemployment.  We told you to cut taxes on Americans and small businesses.  Did you do that? NOPE!  You saved your contributors in the financial and insurance industries and let us swing in the wind.

2010 is looking more and more interesting.  Readers?  Have you changed your party affiliation to “No Party” yet?

Crazy Like A Fox

The following video is a round-up of statements from the talking heads this past Sunday on the news shows in regards to Sarah’s move to resign. The overwhelming consensus is that they do not know why she did it, and don’t understand her strategy. I am posting it for your enjoyment because they are either really stupid, deaf, or are lying.  I heard her clearly, she does not want to spend anymore of Alaskans’ time and money defending herself  against trumped up ethics complaints, (which we all know are NEVER going to end).

And a note for Bill Kristol; even though Sarah has not finished her term for the best and most selfless reasons, she still has more experience than Bambi Hussein.

Has anybody noticed that Sarah actually broke through the wall of Michael Jackson media coverage?

Today’s AYFKM? Award: Colin Powell

Colin Powell is receiving Today’s Are You Freakin’ Kidding Me? Award for completely smokin’ the koolaid and is NOW just realizing what a hidden agenda Bambi has, and because he thinks government often has to solve people’s problems.  Colin, are you freakin’ kidding ME?

I believe there are two items you really need to brush up on as a priority.

  • People are meant to be self reliant and not turn to the government every time they have a problem.
  • Our government is solving the problems of the NY Bankers and the shadow chess players in the background, not average every day Americans.

State of the Union: Powell ‘concerned’ about Obama’s agenda

WASHINGTON (CNN) – In a wide-ranging interview set to air Sunday on CNN’s State of the Union, one of President Barack Obama’s most prominent Republican supporters says he is ‘concerned’ about the new president’s ambitious agenda and the high price tags accompanying many of Obama’s initiatives.

“I’m a little concerned,” former Secretary of State Colin Powell says. “I’m concerned at the number of programs that are being presented, the bills associated with these programs and the additional government that will be needed to execute them.”

Powell also seems to sound a note of warning to the young president.

“I think one of the cautions that has to be given to the president — and I’ve talked to some of his people about this — is that you can’t have so many things on the table that you can’t absorb it all. And we can’t pay for it all.”

Even as he raises concerns about the new Democratic president’s agenda, Powell also seems to back away from some of his own conservative views.

“I don’t like slogans anymore like ‘limited government.’ That’s not the right answer. The right answer is, give me a government that works.”

“The people want their problems solved,” Powell also says in the interview. “And very often, it’s government that has to do that. So let’s have good government, effective government, whether you call it limited or not.”
