AYFKM? 9.11 Just Happened; I’m Going Golfing

I stumbled on this story over at Gateway Pundit about Barry making comparisons between the gulf oil leak and 9.11.  I decided to check the out the whole story and felt just a bit more commentary was required.  Politico did this interview on Friday, and released this piece this morning.

Obama: Gulf spill ‘echoes 9/11’

Obama — facing mounting criticism of his handling of the BP gusher, even from longtime allies — vowed to make a “bold” push for a new energy law even as the calamity continues to unfold. And he said he will use the rest of his presidency to try to put the United States on a course toward a “new way of doing business when it comes to energy.”

Right after he gets done with another 18 holes in ‘sweltering heat’. You know how much the pResident needs to relax before yet another photo op in the Gulf!

“In the same way that our view of our vulnerabilities and our foreign policy was shaped profoundly by 9/11,” the president said in an Oval Office interview on Friday, “I think this disaster is going to shape how we think about the environment and energy for many years to come.”

Now I am starting to believe the rumors that this asshat was behind the tragedy to enable his political agenda to move through Congress unimpeded by the unwashed masses that are paying the bills.

Previewing his message for the midterm congressional elections in November, the president said: “[T]he Democrats in Congress have taken tougher votes, have worked harder under more stressful circumstances, than just about any Congress in our memory. And they’ve done a great job and deserve reelection.”

Translation: they have being working themselves to the bone spending American taxpayer dollars faster and more efficiently than when they took control of Congress in 2006.  The dems have been doing everything their globalist masters have asked of them (and more) in an effort to collapse the economy and shift the powerbase to the United Nations, Basil, the IMF, and the World Bank.  How can we not reward them?

“So I’m going to be fighting on their behalf and doing everything I can and using my bully pulpit to communicate that fact to the American people,” he said. “I know there’s an anti-incumbent mood out there right now because … people are frustrated about the hit that the economy has taken. … But what I’m going to remind people of is we didn’t create this mess. And this Congress responded forcefully at a time when this economy really could have fallen off a cliff.”

Sorry Barry – you and your buddies did create this mess when you changed the Community Reinvestment act that allowed anything with a pulse to receive a mortgage, did nothing about the the problems inside Fannie and Freddie’s accounting, and then helped Bush 43 spend us into oblivion.

Please, please, please!!!! campaign for your buddies.  Help them out the way you did Martha Coakley, John Corzine, and Creigh Deeds.

Historic patterns and the current political climate all but guarantee that both the House and Senate will lose Democrats in the election, and administration officials concede the Republicans have a chance of winning control of the House.

Obama acknowledged that the results will help determine the course of his term’s second half. “I am spending some time thinking about 2010 because, obviously, my ability to get things done on behalf of the American people depends on a Congress that is willing to cooperate,” he said.

His term’s second half?  There’s some wishful thinking considered the information that is starting to rise to the surface about Sestak, Romanoff, and possibly Blago.

In his firmest declaration yet that he views the calamity as an impetus to push Congress afresh to pass a major energy and climate bill, Obama vowed to “move forward in a bold way in a direction that finally gives us the kind of future-oriented, … visionary energy policy that we so vitally need and has been absent for so long..”

“One of the biggest leadership challenges for me going forward is going to be to make sure that we draw the right lessons from this disaster,” he said.

Biggest leadership challenges?  I thought that was walking and chewing gum at the same time; the decision being which foot to put forward first.

  1. The possible repercussions of the situation in the gulf are sooo frightening. His mind is so twisted. I can’t see how we can tolerate him in that office any longer. Something needs to be done about it very, very soon.

  2. I think the oil crisis was created by the “Bozo” administration to further his agenda. Why would an oil platform suddenly blow up? Because “Bozo” had it blown up! It’s ALL part of his “Master Plan” to take control of EVERYTHING! Let the impeachment process begin, AND while we’re at it, arrest and prosecute ALL of those who knew about the real truth…Pelosi, Reid, et al!

  3. ‘NEVER LET A GOOD CRISIS GO TO WASTE”-SAUL ALINSKY
“NOTHING IN POLITICS HAPPENS BY ACCIDENT”-SOME ASSHAT POLITICIAN?
I WOULD THINK THE AMOUNT OF OIL IN A SINGLE DAY WOULD BE ENOUGH TO MAKE A NORMAL PERSON GET ON THE GODAMN STICK,……… MEANWHILE.LALALALALALALALALALALAAAL
