You gave them the ammunition by showing how you would limit debate. You gave 'them' the ammo by showing such hubris in pronouncing this deal complete by Christmas day. Why the necessity to ahve this complete by Christmas day? So you may vainly proclaim you helped the American people in 2010? Was that your reationale for Afganistan? Iraq? With the great deals my own senators Leahy and Sanders are cutting my healthcare should be fantabulous, and I'll need it to be in order to work hard enough to pay all the tax increases they'll be sending my way. Vermont already sits near the top of the highest tax rate so what's a little more burden for a good cause. 2010 and 2012 can't come around soon enough.
