Hele Mai! You know what is going on. Sorry to be so cryptic, but in times like these, it must be done.

Like I said, not much needs to be changed in the Constitution. It's a durable and timeless document as is. Amending it still requires 2/3 Congress to propose, and 3/4 States to ratify.

Again though, we would be asking powerfully positioned people to relinquish their appointments, and in some cases their long, multi-generational legacies, in a scant 6 to 8 years. History has never supported this proposition and it never will.

I appreciate being informed, I really do. However my wallet continues to hemorrhage into domestic and foreign accounts that no one has ever bothered to seek my consent on because they may feel I'm too stupid to know any better. That goalpost of Happiness I pursue has been moved still another 10 yards down field. My liberty is fading fast, and through it I now see my growing servitude taking its place.

So, one of my unalienable rights has been hobbled, the other is being mocked while writhing on the floor in cardiac arrest, and the third, well at least I still have that one for now, but it too is looking mighty questionable with what's being passed around in D.C. agendas these past few years.

It's becoming more evident to dissolve those bands which the Houses have built up around themselves in an attempt to strengthen and maintain their own status quo.

I understand what you are saying and yes, I don't think term limits will happen anytime soon. At this point, we need to do what the left has been doing and keep people informed and involved. As for re-writing the Constitution - NEVER! That's why there are amendments. Remember what happens when you open the door to anybody in charge - give them an inch and they take 20 miles. If amendments are needed, and there aren't that many issues that really need to be addressed, then go for the amendments but DO NOT touch a document that has sustained us for 233 years. Most of what is wrong with the state of the union has come from congressmen and senators NOT paying attention to whether a bill or law is Constitutional or not. They just sally forth doing whatever they want and not following the rules.

Gee, does it mean that ONLY the journalist are going to be entitled to practice the 1st Amendment of "Freedom of speech"? It's going to end when all of those who protest are either dead or in shackles, or worse, completely brainwashed!
