Today’s AYFKM? Award: Obamacare; Is Jail In Your Future?

We have been screaming about fascism in America for almost a year now, and I am wondering how long it is going to take for everybody to realize it.  Make sure to click on the first link “This” to see the actual handwritten note talking about fines and jail time for people who do not comply.  Please send this information to every single person you know!

From Politico:

Ensign receives handwritten confirmation

This doesn’t happen often enough.

Sen. John Ensign (R-Nev.) received a handwritten note Thursday from Joint Committee on Taxation Chief of Staft Tom Barthold confirming the penalty for failing to pay the up to $1,900 fee for not buying health insurance.

Violators could be charged with a misdemeanor and could face up to a year in jail or a $25,000 penalty, Barthold wrote on JCT letterhead. He signed it “Sincerely, Thomas A. Barthold.”

The note was a follow-up to Ensign’s questioning at the markup.

Well… look on the positive side… if they throw you in jail, you’ll get FREE medical care!

  3. I guess I will be in that number also DT. I not only can’t afford it, I do not believe in modern “medicine” and refuse to be used as a guinea pig. I thought we had a right to be secure in our persons. I have a right to my beliefs and I believe that I can do a better job of keeping myself healthy with nutritional supplements, minerals, and good food, than “modern medicine” can, but I am soon to be denied this option with Codex Alimentarius.

I hate what is going on in the world today and I am ready to defend my rights rather than live like this or be controlled by evil governments that will create laws to make their friend wealthy at my expense. I AM NOT A SLAVE!!!

If it is approved by the FDA….STAY AWAY!!!

  4. BY ACCEPTING THE OFFICE AND TITE OF PRESIDENT OF UN SECURITY COUNCIL WITHOUT PRIOR CONGRESSIONAL PUBLIC APROVAL!!! WHAT IS OBAMA DOING?? WHILE HOLDING THE OFFICE OF PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, HE HAS ACCEPTED A TITLE AND OFFICE FROM A FOREIGN ENTITY (IE GROUP OF STATES)?? UNLESS HE AS ALREADY GOTTEN APPROVAL FROM CONGRESS IN SECRET, WHICH WOULD ALSO BE ILLEGAL, HE HAS JUST COMMITTED A HIGH CRIME IN FULL PUBLIC VIEW!! THE VIDEO OF HIS ACTIVITIES IN THAT POSITION WILL BE ENOUGH EVIDENCE TO PROVE HIS GUILT!! SINCE HE IS A CONSTITUTIONAL LAWYER, HE SHOULD KNOW BETTER THAN TO GO AROUND DOING ILLEGAL THINGS IN PUBLIC!! ONE WOULD THINK!! I MEAN, NO PRESIDENT HAS EER DONE THIS BECAUSE IT IS A DIRECT VIOLATION OF ARTICLE I SECTION 9!!….

  5. Kevin – please stop screaming at the choir. Also, please give us some links to follow up on – you may be entirely right because he is the first president to ever do what he has done and maybe that is why. Please respond.

  6. No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State.

Okay – what do we know about the UN being a “foreign state”? Yes? No? What is the exact legal status of the UN. He may very well be committing treason. Dig people! I will keep you posted.

  8. Diamond… having read the relevant passages from the Constitution and the U.N. charter, I think it would be difficult to argue that the U.N. is a King, Prince, or foreign State.

What concerns me about Obama, with his naivete and hubris (a dangerous combination), is that he will commit our sovereign nation to things that really require a treaty ratification and will somehow bypass Congress’ role, thereby in effect, eroding our sovereignty… not that that seems to matter with the current group of yahoos we have in the House and Senate. But, the combination of all this is downright dangerous.
