Rep. Jason Chaffetz: “Scam Wow”

…or “the government should get the hell OUT OF THE WAY!”

$600 BILLION in interest payments to the Fed this year? WTF?  WHEN CAN WE ABOLISH THE FED AND CENTRAL BANKING SYSTEMS FOREVER?

Rep. Jason Chaffetz at 5:00 is not only talking about giving our money back to us, but in very plain terms is telling his colleagues that all that money they are spending is OUR MONEY – not the congress’ money!

I suggest we go further than that; repeal the $717 Billion of stimulus money that has not been spent yet and then give every single legal adult American $1 Million to stimulate housing sales, investment, college educations, small business starts…etc.  Imagine the tax revenues to states from that kind of influx of cash going to Americans instead of the Banks who just either held onto the money or bought each other to consolidate their power.

American innovation drives our economy…

  1. Okay readers! I nominate myself to go to Washington with a red magic marker to veto all the worthless spending in every single bill that these asshats have passed and are trying to pass now BECAUSE: I became partially unemployed this month, lost $500 worth of income and still managed to stay in the black with all my bills paid with NO, Zero, Zip disposal income. I stayed in the black just juggling my budget! Whoo Hoo!!!

  2. Diamaond Tiger,

Good job on your budjet, Dave Ramsey would be proud. How about him for president next time around, or maybe at least someone that understands the P&L of a lemonade stand.

The simulus package is like Christmas time, exept Santa is thin with big ears and healthy sun tan, and the elves that build the toys are not even born yet.

  3. Diamond Tiger,
I’ll be there with you with extra red magic markers because they will surely go dry, there are so many bad bills to veto!

  4. Oh you are so right! I forgot how much crap they have passed in the last 100 years that has GOT TO GO! I’ll get carpal tunnel if I do it by myself – we are going to need a whole team.

  5. You know you’ve been away for a while when you come back and all the wall paper has been redone!
Anyway, what I was thinking when I watched Jason Chaffetz video clip is that while we lump the whole bunch into the asshat corral, we should take the time to recognize the boys and girls who are being good, and there are a few. We shouldn’t let them think we don’t appreciate them. Nice touch: send over some flowers cuz you know they’re getting A LOT of nasty-grams from the Obamanaughts. And when we complain, “you’re not listening!” we should show our patriots in congress that we ourselves are listening too.

  6. Liberal scumbags are always using the excuse that the economy hasn’t improved because only 6% of the Stimulus taxpayer money has been spent so far.

So now they’re talking about Stimulus 2.0 – and my question to these idiots is: then why not fix the original stimulus bill to spend the original money faster instead of another try at it ?

Of course, the brightest idea would be a very long income tax holiday (what happened to that idea?) or simply giving our money back to us ? Or best yet: not sending our money off to Washington at all ? Tired of seeing it end up in a Democratic congressman FREEZER !

  7. I’m retired and have worked since I was 11 years old.

Just out of curiosity, I got out my last three (end of year checkstubs) checks and calculated the taxes I paid.

I actually worked almost one whole year for nothing. That was; 14,783 dollars.

    Did you know?

IT DOESN’T MATTER IF YOU ARE REPUBLICAN OR DEMOCRAT!

    KEEP IT GOING!!!!

    Propose this in 2009:

START A BILL TO PLACE ALL POLITICIANS ON SOCIAL SECURITY

    ———————————-

    SOCIAL SECURITY:

(This is worth reading. It is short and to the point.)

Perhaps we are asking the wrong questions during election years.

Our Senators and Congresswomen do not pay into Social Security and, of course, they do not collect from it.

You see, Social Security benefits were not suitable for persons of their rare elevation in society. They felt they should have a special plan for themselves. So, many years ago they voted in their own benefit plan.

In more recent years, no congressperson has felt the need to change it. After all, it is a great plan.

For all practical purposes their plan works like this:

When they retire, they continue to draw the same pay until they die.
Except it may increase from time to time for cost o f living adjustments..

For example, Senator Byrd and Congressman White and their wives may expect to draw $7, 800,000.00 (that’s Seven Million, Eight-Hundred Thousand Dollars), with their wives drawing $275, 000.00 during the last years of their lives.

This is calculated on an average life span for each of those two Dignitaries.

Younger Dignitaries who retire at an early age, will receive much more during the rest of their lives.

Their cost for this excellent plan is $0.00. NADA..! ZILCH….

    This little perk they voted for themselves is free to them. You and I pick up the tab for this plan. The funds for this fine retirement plan come directly from the General Funds;

“OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK “!

From our own Social Security Plan, which you and I pay (or have paid) into, every payday until we retire (which amount is matched by our employer). We can expect to get an average of

    $1,000 per month

    After retirement.

Or, in other words, we would have to collect our average of $1,000 monthly benefits for 68 years and one (1) month to equal Senator Bill Bradley’s benefits!

Social Security could be very good if only one small change were made.

    That change would be to:

Jerk the Golden Fleece Retirement Plan from under the Senators and Congressmen.. Put them into the Social Security plan with the rest of us
    Then sit back…..

  8. There are a FEW in DC that are OK…Ron Paul comes to mind. The house member for my area has been voting against EVERYTHING since he went there, even though he ignored the notarized Petition for Demand for Redress I delivered to him a year ago (but according to the constitution this gives me a legal out for not paying any taxes to the gov’t til my petition is addressed- oh yea…the constitution is not in effect anymore). But unfortunately I also am from the area that sent “cold cash” Jefferson there, so we are guilty too. Basically, this whole crowd makes me sick!
