It has steam rolled since then, they vote themselves raises, and benefits practically anytime they want some regardless of the economic climate of the country. I'm not a betting man but I would be willing to bet, if you made serving the American people a voluntary job again, every one of those scumbags in DC would quit with the exception of Obama who want's to be a third world dictator. "We the People" are the only ones that can change the rapid slide to communism and dictatorship in this country. Unfortunately according to the pols 35% to 45% of the people who are comprised of the following groups, non working, non tax paying, Socialist, Communist, militants, radicals, and Leftist, in this country want Obama's Communistic free ride from the cradle to grave. With a voter base this large, and with ACORN in the middle it will be difficult to get all of the scumbags out of DC and they all know it. This, I believe is why they are so arrogant in their complete disregard of the opinions of 60 to 65% of the population. We as a republic are in dire straits as the majority is being ignored by our Communist dictator in his out of control run to tyranny and Communism. I believe we all know the answer as our founding fathers did 235 years ago, but do we have the courage. We have showed them we can write, but I pray that we don't have to show them we can fight. The people that came up with the idea do, I just recognized a good idea and am trying to pass it along. We need to remember how and why this country was created on this great and hallowed holiday, and pray that it can be restored. It IS OUR country and we are responsible to maintain it. As Ben Franklin said when asked after the Continental Congress "What have you given us?", his reply was "A republic....If you can keep it!". The generations (through no fault of their own- only government induced ignorance) that came before us, let us down and did not "keep it". It is our responsibility to restore it and pass it on to other generations along WITH THE KNOWLEDGE of HOW to "keep it"! Freedom is a precious RIGHT and we unfortunately must work hard EVERY DAY to "keep it" from those who would destroy and usurp it. But, I digress. Back on topic... let TPTB eat cake! Lets give them their just deserts! It has been far too long coming, but it is our turn to dictate to them. Happy and safe July 4th to all!
