Sometimes people do the right thing for the wrong reasons, while it can be viewed with a skeptical eye at least there is some change to help slow this train wreck.

2010 is when we can make real change but sadly for now we have to hope pressure gets to some of these representatives at all levels.

If memory serves, Hiram Monserrate is the scumbag that beat the crap out of his girlfriend and sliced her with a broken glass, then chased her around the building while being recorded by the security cameras. He was charged, but has refused to resign his State Senate seat and the Democratic leadership has refused to ask him to resign while he awaits trial. I wonder if this vote will change that?

Maybe we as a country are beginning to wake up.
I pray we see this type of thing happening throughout the State Senates. If some in “power” can just hold the fort until the reinforcements arrive by ballot in 2010!

Yes, now we know that Republicans and Democrats are not to be trusted.
It seems the 2 Dems are figuring out a way to save their own necks…but further on down the line, we’ll just be defending ourselves from Republicans, on the local and national level.

Yes, this is encouraging, but I caution….the two parties are just the left and right wings of the same vulture. Most in government are naive and they really do not understand this. It is encouraging to see them realize that the Dems are heading in the wrong direction. Now if we can just get them to understand the whole government is heading in the wrong direction. This is still just a distraction to divide us and distract us. I will not be encouraged until they indict and impeach BO.
