Chris, I will explain the whole H,N business in part 3 which is coming either today or tomorrow (early). The actual DNA/RNA is the same type but not the same markers - like everybody has dna but it is all different. I will also explain how H1N1 flipped to H5N3 from the first to 2nd waves of the 1918 Spanish Flu (in such a way that we all can understand it, okay?)

If the name of the 1918 virus is h1n1 and the 2009 is also h1n1 why aren't they the same?I was understanding that the n is used to enter the blood cell anmd the h is to exit so infection can spread.
