Right there with you Gracie - I voted straight republican ticket for the first time in my life. I have never voted for a republican and did so last week with relish.

If Dems keep putting corrupt Dems in office - this is what happens. Time for a BIG CHANGE!

Vote McCain/Palin tomorrow!

And I hate to say this because I'm a Dem, but if you're really ticked off like I am, vote for other Republicans too. My Democratic Congressman was a Superdelegate for Obama even though this district went for Clinton. I'm going to have to check tomorrow but if his competitor isn't an ax murderer, I'm probably going to vote Republican there too.

The heck with this freakin' Democratic Party! I hope our votes tell them what they refuse to hear!

Kirkland, there is in fact an issue we have in common with McCain, it's called Democracy. McCain's nomination was not the result of his party sanctioning state party officials to violate party and state election rules to game the caucuses, nor did he benefit from having delegates taken from other candidates and given to him. He also did not sanction the threatening of delegates at his convention, but your messiah did. So while fascist asshats like yourselves talk about sour grapes we talk about what a fucking hypocrite you are as I have no doubt that you were pissing in your pants like a cranky two year-old in 2000 and 2004. Fraud and fascism is fine as long as it benefits your lord and savior. You and the rest of the Obamazombies are a sickening disgrace and represent everything wrong about American politics...just like your candidate. The ACORN doesn't fall far from the tree.

With any luck the mothership will come back to earth and take you, Obama, and the rest of you sheople back to planet Asshat where you belong.

The Ant and The Grasshopper

*There is an 'Old Version' and a 'Modern Version' .... Two Different Versions! ** **Two Different set of Morals!

OLD VERSION:

The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies
for the winter.

The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.
Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed.

The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold.

MORAL OF THE STORY:
Be responsible for yourself!
*
-------------------------------------------

*MODERN VERSION:*

The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up
supplies for the winter.

The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.

Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while others are cold and starving.

The MSM show up to provide pictures of the shivering
grasshopper next to a video of the ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food. The whole country is stunned by the sharp contrast.

How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?

Kermit the Frog appears on SNL with the grasshopper, and everybody cries when they sing, 'It's Not Easy Being Green.'

William Ayers stages a demonstration in front of the ant's house where the news stations film the group singing, 'We shall overcome.'
Rev Wright then has the group kneel down to pray to God for the grasshopper's sake.

NoBAMA exclaims in an interview that the ant
has gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, and both call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share as the ant is too much of a "Rich Prick."

Finally, the Democrats draft the Economic Equity & Anti-Grasshopper Act retroactive to the beginning of the summer.

The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated
by the government.

NoBAMA gets his old law firm to represent the grasshopper in a defamation suit against the ant, and the case is tried before a panel of judges that NoBAMA appointed from a list of single-parent welfare recipients.

The ant loses the case.

The story ends as we see the grasshopper finishing up the last bits of the ant's food while the government house he is in, which just happens
to be the ant's old house, crumbles around him because he doesn't maintain it.

The ant has disappeared in the snow.

The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident and the house, now abandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the once
peaceful neighbourhood.

MORAL OF THE STORY:
Be VERY careful how you vote in 2008!!
